The movie, although with better quality, can easily be consider as one episode more, the plot is good but nothing more. The best of this DVD is the case. Illustrated by CLAMP, will be a perfect item in any ones collection.

This movie is short, yet full of life. A perfect introduction to the anime version of the xxxHolic universe. The plot is well done and very xxxHolic like and has the signature of typical CLAMP drama as well.
An original story based on CLAMP hit manga, xxxHOLiC: Manatsu no Yoru no Yume is an excellent introduction to the new anime. Deliciously dark and enthralling, the story focuses on an invitation to a western style mansion. The sake-loving witch Yuko brings Mokona, Watanuki and his rival Doumeki along for a fantastical ride into another Tokyo where magic and mystery co-exist with the normal world. The artwork is amazing with beautiful character designs. The orchestral score is creepy and the ending theme 'Sanagi' perform by J-pop star Suga Shikao. Fans of CLAMP should order this DVD immediately as it is sure to whet their appetites for the anime series currently airing on Japanese TV.
As a fan of Clamp works i have to say that this edition it's worth it ! Not only the dvd but the gifts that come with it as well!! the strap is really cute ^^ ! Just see it with your own eyes and I'm sure you won't be deceived !!
