Kimeru
Kime has really outdone himself on this one! It contains 11 tracks, 7 old, and 4 all-new ones! It is A TOTAL MUST for any fan of Kime or prince of tennis. Although a bit pricey, it's well worth it!
Kimeru's amazing! All the songs are fantastic and I can just listen to it non-stop. I would say that this is my favourite album of his. A must-get!
I bought this CD because I love Kime's songs in tennis no oujisama & he was adorable/sexy as Fuji in tenimyu. XD I wasn't impressed with the album at first, especially after hearing "Kuchibiru Passion" *ugh*. I felt he changed his style somewhat, and is kinda reminiscent of Kotani Kinya during his Gravitation phase. ^^ Don't get me wrong, I like Kinya but I wasn't expecting Kime's songs to be similar. ^^ But now, I can't get those songs outta my head! "Honnou", "Answer will come", "Be Shiny", "Overlap" & my current fave, "Stand up! - Break away" are smashing. Don't be surprised if you find your body keeping in time to the music! XD The last track, "Color" winds us down from the frenzied pace of the album. It's a touching and poignant piece I'm sure everyone would enjoy. Kime's growth is amazing and I can't wait for his sophomore album.
The best feature of this album is the diversity in the tracks. There are more poppy songs as well as a few ballads. As a whole, the album highlights Kimeru's artistic range nicely.
As Kimeru's first album, I had this preordered way in advance. I had high expectations for this CD and I was not disappointed. Though the majority of the songs are recycled, they were well chosen from the singles previously released and the four new songs are absolutely incredible. "Honnou" is amazing and brings to mind of Kimeru at his best. "COLOR" is a wonderful ballad that is contemplative, whimsical and powerful. "Kaze ga yamu made" is new for Kimeru, both in the song's content and feel, but it is simply an experience to be savored. And lastly, "Kuchibiru Passion" is...different. While I didn't like it as much as the other three, I can't say it's a completely failed experiment. All in all, this album is a good collection of Kimeru music with some great new songs as well.
If you've seen Kime, it's pretty likely that you've seen him sing songs for Prince of Tennis and Yugioh, as well as play Fuji Syusuke in the Prince of Tennis musical. Finally, his first album after what seemed like a million singles has come out! And what a CD! It's got music for every style. Fast, slow, anything! It can suit any mood you might have. It has various songs, from his single 'Overlap' shown as an opening in Yugioh, to 'Answer Will Come', with its eloquent lyrics that will give shivers down your spine. It's a must buy for people who love Prince of Tennis, and also people who like the sound of TM Revolution. He has a similar voice, but a distinct one that you will be able to recognize on cue.
I love Kimeru, I love glorious! HIs songss are very cachy and pop. I also love T.M.Revolution, but now I prefer Kimeru. I can't wait the upcoing "glolious" DVD!
