For me this is one of the best albums he ever made, it was one of the first i ever bought and it definitely made me want to buy more, he is a genius and i thoroughly recommend that everyone buys it :)

It's been years...now only i write the review. This album's really good. I like most of the tracks...But my no.1 favourite is 'Kimi Ga Matteiru..' The music, rock and orchestra, really harmonized and blends well. Yeah, credit to Gackt's classical music background ;) And the packaging is more user-friendly compared to Moon (the booklet is GREAT but it's hard for me to take out the disk!) Great job Gackt for producing great songs in 'Crecent'!!!

Crescent is a beautifully composed album filled with a perfect mixture of rock hard beats and soulful acoustics. A must have for any Gackt OR J-rock fan.

Despite what everyone else says this cd was only okay for me. It was very low key and I'm more used to upbeat albums from Gackt. I think the problem is that I was looking for a follow up to the album Moon, which I thoroughly enjoyed, and instead got something more like a Diablos hybrid. Still, this album is well worth having, like all of Gackt's albums. It contains some pretty amazing songs like Lust for Blood, White Eyes, Mind Forest and Orenge No Taiyou. Another great thing about it is that it comes with the lyric booklet for Moon. If your a long term fan then you should buy this to support your favorite artist. If your a new fan then...well it just depends on your taste and how new to this genre of music you are.

Absolutely wonderful cd!!! It was my first Gackt cd and now i have to buy all the others =) Last song, lust for blood and orenji no taiyo were the best but really there wasn't a single bad track!!!! Highly recommended!

Crescent is one of my favorite Gackt albums, and perhaps the most consistent since MARS. white eyes has been high in my playlist virtually since I got the album, but the other tracks are no slouches; it's a good pop/rock sound with perky songs, pensive songs, and flat-out rock songs. It's an album that spotlights his evolution as an artist, from the far more pop sound of MARS through the transitional MOON. Overall, it's a great album that I recommend for anyone!

This album is a great follow-up to MOON, and DIABOLOS flows perfectly from this album. A DEFINATE PICK-UP for ANY JROCK FAN OR GACKT FAN!!

This album rocks! So many reat songs, they're all so creative. Definite replayability. It's hard to choose favourites, but I love "Lust for Blood", "Tsuki no Uta", "Orange no Taiyou" and "White Eyes".

An excellent disc!!! It is my first acquisition of Gackt and is fabulous!!!!!!! Highly recommendable!

An excellent album with songs you want to hear over and over again. It's all i expect from Him and much, much more that i never thought can came ^_^ I love "Orenji no taijou" with Hyde - marvellous, delicate and passionate; "Lust for blood" that froze my blood everytime i hear it along with "White eyes" and "Mind forest" is...better hear it yourself ^_^ All albums songs are more than great so to mention one is just a crime ^_^

Gackt's vocals are always a pleasure to hear, I was very happy with this CD. "White Eyes" is one of my favorite tracks, but Gackt is always versatile and anyone who enjoys Gackt's music would love this disc. ^__^

Though this album features heavy acoustics, it will never bother you as you listen. Gackt's vocals are always a pleasure, and deliver this album strong and clear. Songs like Tsuki no Uta and Lust for Blood never fail to impress their listener, each with beautiful melodies and amazing vocals.

All I can say about the second album of the Moon Project is: AMAZING!!! Crescent is tied with MARS as my second favorite album from Gackt, it has such great songs in it. The guest vocal HYDE from L'Arc~en~Ciel sings the last track together with Gackt. I'll rate the tracks: 1. Dybbuk - 9.5 2. mind forest - 10 3. TSUKI no UTA - 10 4. Kimi Ga Matteiru Kara - 10 5. Solitary - 7.5 6. Hoshi no Suna - 10 7. Lust for blood - 10 8. white eyes - 10 9. Kimi Ga Oikaketa Yume - 10 10. Last Song - 10 11. Birdcage - 9 12. Orange no Taiyou - 10 A must buy! Mainly if you have MOON, since it has the lyrics booklet from it as well.

For me this is Gackt's best album ever. His talent to blend dramatic and sensual is swelling with such a force! Recommended to those who want to discover this very very talented artist.

This is a beautiful album. Gackt put together a splendid mix of rock, pop, and ballads. "Mind Forest" and "Birdcage" are strong songs. "Tsuki no uta" is simple yet gorgeous. And of course, there's the powerful "Last Song" and the haunting duet with Hyde of L'arc en Ciel, "Orenji no taiyou" from the movie Moon Child. The artwork in the lyrics book is remeniscent of said movie. This album also includes the lyrics book to Gackt's previous album, "Moon."

This is one of my favourite albums from Gackt. It envokes a host of emotions. Melodramatic is one way to put it. My favourites are Tsuki no uta, kimi ga matteiru kara and Dybbuk. A must have for Gackt fans!
