I never knew how to comment this album. But if you want buy it then must be carefully for one thing, only. > How I say, Rebirth is amazing with up-down songs and maybe don't have the best balans between them. A bit Tricky. Somedays you will feel it like his best album ever! But even like his worst ( sorry ) or boring. For Fans is the must to have, but if you want something new and strange... Great choice.

I bought this album 7-8 years ago.This is my no.1 album among all! The music was experimental, and surprisingly DAMN GOOD! I like the concept of this album REBIRTH, and all songs in this album are matched with the concept. My most favourite track is 'Maria', and the others are perfect! The idea of Rebirth is the greatest from Gackt!!! SUGOI!!

I've been a fan of Gackt's music for some time and this album certainly didn't disappoint! I was affraid i wouldn't be able to order a copy anymore, but i could. The music is great, i would recommend it to everyone who likes his music.

At first impression, REBIRTH may seem to be an album that sits entirely on the opposite end of the spectrum compared to its predecessor, MARS. Granted, Gackt's style has taken a darker, more ethereal form. However, in spite of this radical change, REBIRTH is nothing short of spectacular as it further proves to the listener that Gackt is capable of producing amazing work while still experimenting with new sounds. As always, this musical genius puts his heart and soul into every note, making his voice that more magnetic. With a brilliant mixture of rock-hard songs and melodic tunes, REBIRTH shows how much Gackt's music has matured since his solo debut. To me, this album transcends all of his other releases and will always remain my favorite. And although REBIRTH may or may not cement you as a hardcore Gackt fan, it is an album that cannot be missed. Give it a try. You won't regret it.

Rebirth is an excellent album. I'm never disappointed by Gackt's album. The songs are beautiful, sweet... I like this one !

Another great album by gackt, I'm amazed how he can make every song on this album unique. It's a must buy, even if you're not a gackt fan!

This is a wonderful album and a must have for any Gackt fan. This album contains my favourite song by him, "Kimi no Tame ni Dekiru Koto". I really enjoy "~Seki-ray~" as well.

Well, I really do like Rebirth, it's perfect as always. It's from Gackt anyway. But I do prefer others more(MOON, Crescent, MARS, DIABOLOS). It has some great songs, it's still a must buy.

The design of the CD says it all. This is an industrial inspired album (with a twist..it is GACKT afterall). Just when you wonder how many hours were spent in the studio sweating he slows it down, and even gets a bit cute. This album is hard to find, so grab it when you can.

this is and forever will be my Gackt's favourite album! I like all of that: songs are amazing, case, booklet, design, cover..!! his best album ever.

Well, this album is certainly a huge departure from his previous work, MARS, and whether or not that's a good thing is very debatable. Gackt has gotten much more experimental, with many irregular time signatures, strange lyrics, and lots and lots of distortion -- there are only a few melodic tracks on the album. While this sort of hard metal-influenced stuff isn't my preference, it IS Gackt, so there are a few redeeming qualities. His voice is as smooth as ever (when you can hear it clearly over the guitars, at least), and there are a few tracks that are crazy-good, like Kimi no Tame ni Dekirukoto, or Marmalade. However, be forwarned -- this CD is a great departure from Gackt's earlier works -- whether or not it's a success is up to you, but in my eyes, it's questionable.

Rebirth is a really great album from a really great artist-- Gackt! Much like his other albums, Rebirth has the strong rock sound, and some songs with a fun, Jpop sound that makes you want to hop, and some really soft, beautiful piano that makes you cry. With moving emotions, and an interesting story line to follow, Rebirth is definatly worth buying-- wheather you'll a new fan, or have been a fan for some time. It's great for a beginger, who wants to hear the wide range of Gackt's music.

I was very pleased with my decision to purchase this album. Gackt's second album is filled with everything that makes his stand out. The powerful instrumental 4th... starts off and leads you into a great album. Sayonara allows you to experiance wonderful blend of Gackt's piano and You's violin, and as is to be expected is a moving song. The guitar in maria is a strong presence, and Gackt's voice can only be described as beautiful. The same thing can be said about his voice in Seven This also contains one of my favorite songs, Papa lapped a pap looped, and if I ever meet Gackt I'm going to find out what the title means. Kimi no tame ni Dekiru koto and maramlade are two great feel good songs. The only song I'm iffy about is uncontrol, it has a great chorus, but the guitar is a little to much all over the place for me. To top it off the cd case is in cardboard book style, so I don't have to worry about cracking the jewel case. There is the right balance of hard and soft songs on Rebirth and any Gackt fan (or J-music fan for that matter) should have this cd in their collection.
