GREEN / Days [CD+DVD / Jacket C] Customer Reviews
Ayumi Hamasaki
GREEN is definitely one of my favorite Ayu songs, and the 10th Anniversaty version of TO BE only makes this single even better. It's perfect! This single is not only vocally amazing, but it is also beautiful to just LOOK at. The cover is simply stunning, and Ayu looks gorgeous in it. I wish the poster for this version had been one of this cover instead of the Days/GREEN one.
the second single of Ayu commemorating her 10th anniversary is a perfect thing for every Ayu fan. The first press sleeve is really beautiful and the poster was a nice addition to it. I just regret they gave out only 1 version of a poster. So even if I liked the GREEN/Days cover more I got the other cover's poster - and I don't like it that much.>.<' Even tho this is a nice single with a beautiful ballad and upbeat a bit rockish song , which all Ayu fans should listen to ^_^
I was really looking forward to this release and turns out it was definitely worth pre-ordering! The 1st press packaging is once again very beautiful and I loved the poster. I like GREEN much more than Mirrorcle World (which was a five-star single in my opinion as well). The song has a very recognisable, oriental style sound and it somehow sounds more like the "old" Ayu. The b-side, Days, is also very good and worth listening. I enjoyed both PVs, Ayu was very cute in Days but I find GREEN a bit better, the Chinese influence was very enjoyable and the dance scenes beautiful. My conclusion? You should definitely buy this single if you're into Ayu. It made my Christmas and would definitely make yours too. :)
I pre-ordered Ayu's new single, extremely happy that I got the First Press edition. It finally arrived today and I was in total awe, it is simply beautiful! The vertical box, the CD covers, the material used and the B2 sized poster is just amazing. I implore you, buy this before the First Press edition sells out. Anyway, to the songs. Ayumi never fails to impress, GREEN/Days are a wonderful double A-Side. GREEN is a dance-able up beat track that will just stick in your head, it reminds me a lot of "glitter" from her previous album "Guilty". Days is simply a beautiful song, from the moment it starts you known you're in for a treat and it just leaves a sad yet soft tune in your head. The PVs for both the videos are fun to, especially Days as the concept is really innocent and Ayumi just looks adorable in her little outfit. I bought the "GREEN/Day" version rather than the "Day/GREEN" simply because I prefer the front covers of the GREEN version better, plus I enjoy "TO BE" more than "LOVE ~Destiny~" but both are definitely a must for any Ayu fan. She's at number 1 in the Daily Charts, lets hope she goes to number 1 with the weekly charts!
