Following the U.S. government’s executive order, “Termination of De Minimis Treatment for All Countries” issued on July 30, 2025, mail containing goods imported for personal use will no longer be eligible for duty-free treatment starting August 29, 2025.
As a result, Japan Post will temporarily suspend acceptance of the following shipments to the U.S, Guam, and Puerto Rico:
- EMS
- Registered Airmail
- Airmail
In line with this, CDJapan will also temporarily suspend shipments via these methods to the U.S, Guam, and Puerto Rico starting August 26, 2025.
Please note that this is a temporary suspension. We will keep your orders in our warehouse and will ship them out once the suspension is lifted. Note that while we can not ship out the orders, we will continue to accept orders using these shipping methods.
