As of April 1, 2025, authentication via 3D Secure 2.0 has become mandatory for online credit card payments in accordance with Japan’s Credit Card Security Guidelines.
Following this change, updates were made to the payment processes by credit card companies and PSPs (Payment Service Providers), but some credit card transactions have been reported to be experiencing issues.
We have reported the issue to our PSP as well. However, as of now, some problems are still ongoing.
We apologize for the inconvenience. If your credit card cannot be used successfully, we kindly ask that you try an alternative payment method such as PayPal.
Additionally, if you encounter an error during a credit card transaction, we would greatly appreciate it if you could notify our support team so we can continue to escalate the matter to the PSP.
