Handle, Ferrule
This is a cute pink base color. It is more pink than red and has a slight glitter mixed in. The Japanese characters "cosme" from the series name "hana cosme" (flower cosmetics) are printed on. Next to that is a heart shape is printed. All the metallic parts on the ferrule are dull and not so shiny, so they do not show fingerprints very much.

Head
The shape and size of the brush tip is very close to that of the Koyudo BP009. It is not very wide and is long and slender. This makes for a nice, natural application even if you press too hard and is very easy to control the amount you put on. It is made of a mixture of goat and gray squirrel hair, but it seems to be mostly goat hair from the feel of it, which makes for great coverage. But since it is not completely goat hair, it has just the right amount of softness and smoothness on the skin. The hair is very shiny. As you can see in the pictures, the brush tip is almost a perfect circle when looked at from the top. The hair expands and spreads out the further out from the center towards the ends of tip. There is quite a bit of density in the hair, so it feels very soft to the touch and is very good at spreading the powder across the skin easily.
When I see it in the packaging, it looks like I could also use it as a blush or highlighting brush but after washing it once it is rather voluminous and I realized it was really best suited as a powder brush. The brush tip is somewhat rounded and flat so it might also be good as a finishing brush.
Many gray squirrel hair powder brushes can cost 10,000 yen or more, but at 7,000 yen this brush is a relatively inexpensive option.
Softness(degree 1-10)
7. The blend of goat and gray squirrel hair results in a nice mixture of softness and firmness. There is slightly more goat hair which gives it a nice amount of volume so you can really feel the firmness behind it, but it is definitely soft enough to be used as a powder brush. I use a dark colored powder foundation and it gives a very even cover across my face. I never feel any itchiness or prickliness from this brush. It has immediately become a vital part of my daily base makeup routine!PM1A Powder Brush / CMP514 Blush Brush
