The size of the head is just perfect for along the cheek bone, in an angular line, up towards your temple. It applies color for a professional blushing effect easily and evenly.If you want densely packed brush such as fu-pa14, you might not be satisfied with this brush. It is not so densely packed. But it has a density to pick up just the right amount of powder for a natural-looking result.
When I apply blush with this brush, I start in the center of the apple of my cheek and sweep up toward my temple gently or I just simply dab it onto the apples of my cheeks. It’s a bit of a fluffy brush, not too dense, so it works beautifully to blend in the pigments. The gray squirrel hairs are glossy and soft.
It's a little bit large for highlighter under eyes or on bridge of nose, but right size for highlighter on forehead for me.
Softness (degree 1-10)
8. It is enough soft, controllable and give a natural finish on your makeup. It is not as soft as 100% gray squirrel brush such as Chikuhodo Z-4 as goat hair is mixed. The hair is slightly more thick and durable. But, it applies color more quickly, efficiently and evenly than the 100% gray squirrel brush.
