ar CONOMi is a fashion brand established in 2009 by a school-item shop CONOMi whose main shop locates in Niigata Prefecture. Its core shop is located on Takeshita-dori street in the heart of Tokyo's cool Harajuku district. Its brand message is that school is for studying, but romance and fashion are just as important. ar CONOMi have created a range of uniquely designed uniforms to fulfill such needs of customers to shine in fancy uniforms.

The brand offers school uniform-type clothes not only for high schools girls who are not required to wear uniforms, but also fashion-conscious girls who want to wear "Kawaii (cute)" school uniforms to go out to concerts, dance events, cosplay parties and others in the uniforms. It's known for frequent appearances in teenage fashion magazines and TV dramas as well as collaborations with artists in the Japanese music scene.

Recently, ar CONOMi is gaining more and more popularity among the young Japanese generation and also from overseas by participating at exhibitions abroad. Such exhibitions include Paris, Italy (at the pop culture event Romics held in Rome), Thailand, Korea and Russia, and so on.
