The images are of high quality and there are lots of newer ones as well - so there are many from Dawn of the Deep Soul with Bondrewd and Prushka. I'm looking forward to look at them next year!

To sum up, Made in Abyss is not for the faint of heart and this sequel movie just gets even darker than the anime series. At the same time, this movie is also just so beautiful. The animation, the voice acting and especially the music, everything is perfect and really something else. I just can't get enough of it!

I actually discovered the Anime through the music and the soundtrack is one of the reasons I love this series so much. While Made in Abyss might not be for everybody, the soundtrack sure is. I recommend it to everyone I know regardless if they are Anime fans or not. It's just that good. There are so many great tracks on it and each and every one of them is amazing and truly unique! Never before have I heard something like this, something that is just so beautiful (and sometimes truly horrifying which fits the series so well). I never get tired of listening to it - and I've listened to it a lot. Kevin Penkin surely is a genius and everyone should check out his work - especially this one!
