Rock 'n' Sonic The Hedgehog: SessionsGame MusicJun Senoue strikes again!
This CD is pretty rockin' awesome. Starts with a slower (but still boppin') version of Escape From the City, followed by an acoustic version of Live & Learn accompanied with new vocals by Johnny Gioeli. Awesome as always. Track 3 is an EPIC version of Fisp Bump. This one steals the show in my opinion. Vocals by Tyler Smyth & Andy Bane, who you might remember from Infinite's theme from Sonic Forces. They're back with Jun Se-frickin-noue. This is just an incredible & banging remix. What a combo of talent that is. Track 4 is a take on the Continue music from Sonic 3. Not bad at all. Next is a 'Beyond the Speed of...' remix from S.A.M.E. (Sonic Adventure Music Experience) which also is pretty darned good. For those unaware, the song originates from the gone, but not forgotten, mobile game Sonic Runners. As a bonus at the end, they also threw on the 4 Tee Lopes/Jun Senoue remixes we got a couple or so years ago. And of course, they still slap. Needless to say, you need to pick up this collection of amazing remixes. You don't wanna miss this. Here's hoping Jun Senoue makes an appearance in the Sonic Frontiers soundtrack, because he clearly still has it in him.

Sonic Forces Vocal Traxx - On The EdgeGame MusicVocal Tracks are back!
This one was an instant buy when I saw it on the the website. Some of these definitely grew on me right off the bat when I first played Forces, like Fist Bump, Infinite, Moonlight Battlefield, and Fading World. The others didn't stick right away. This CD gave me the chance to listen to them all and get comfortable. Whew! They all slap! Very nice set of tracks here. Black Knight was the last time we saw Vocal Traxx, so I was happy to see them return in full! I am very excited for the future of Vocal Traxx, really hoping Frontiers delivers! Don't pass this one up, seriously.

Sonic and the Black Knight Original Soundtrax "Tales Of Knighthood"Game MusicDifferent Soundtrack, Different Mood
Right off the bat, yes, Jun Senoue was at the wheel with this one. Don't walk into this expecting to hear a crap-ton of Jun's guitar, though. DO NOT let this fact turn you away from the incredible soundtrack! It definitely has a presence in quite a few tracks, and man it's good! The soundtrack is largely string-based, and for that results in quite the epic listen. I feel a notable composer here is Richard Jacques who had worked on the Sonic R soundtrack previously. Truly some awesome compositions given from him for some of the cutscenes. Some of my favs from this is Black Sword in the Sky, Theme of Merlina, Misty Lake, Camelot Castle, Deep Woods, Nimue... Lady of the Lake, Titanic Plain, Showdown With King Arthur, and many more on Disc 2! This is definitely a unique soundtrack in the Sonic library, and it's one you don't wanna skip over! Also, DO NOT MISS OUT ON THE VOCAL TRACKS IN BLACK KNIGHT!!!!! THE BEST THE SERIES HAS TO OFFER!!!!! Face to Faith was very much so worth a buy. Truly my favorite music of all time on that CD.

Sonic Colors Ultimate Original Soundtrack Re-ColorsGame MusicIt's not that bad, guys.
It's nice to finally sit down and pay attention to the music from this game. I can really appreciate the tunes without a semi-aggrivating game playing alongside it. I've come to the conclusion that this soundtrack is pretty incredible. It's nice to have the remasters present. The remixes are pretty great and, well... TERMINAL VELOCITY ACT 1 BLOWS LITERALLY EVERYTHING ELSE OUT OF THE WATER. Just thought you should know that. Jun did an outstanding job here. FYI, you know who you are, quit saying Tokoi ruined Ohtani's tracks. This isn't even true. Ohtani originally composed Tropical Resort, Starlight Carnival, and Aquarium Park. Tokoi originally composed Sweet Mountain, Planet Wisp, and Asteroid Coaster. They each remixed their own tracks in Ultimate. Tokoi is criminally uncredited by fans, and Ohtani's name shadows Tokoi's entirely which is a shame & unfair. This is a nice buy though, people. P.S. Planet Wisp Act 1 slaps. Don't let peoples' opinions on it shatter your expectations. True, it doesn't fit the level as well as the original, but here's the beauty of a CD. You're listening to the music outside of the game.

Sonic The Hedgehog DJ Style "PARTY"SONIC THE HEDGEHOGGood Fun
This CD is just too much fun. While you might complain that most of the songs aren't full length, it's actually for the better. The jams just keep on pumping out one after the other! The "Non-Stop" works really really great! There's some Sonic CD in here, Sonic R, Sonic Rush Adventure, Sonic Colors, Sonic 06, Sonic Unleashed, Sonic Mania, Sonic Forces, Sonic Free Riders, and even Sonic Runners. Hope I didn't miss one. Great for driving home on a Friday.

True Colors: The Best Of Sonic The Hedgehog Vol.2Game MusicA Must-Own For Any and All Sonic Fans!
This CD features some of the more obscure but just as awesome Sonic music from Cosmic Eternity (FULL version) to Un-Gravitify. There are amazing exclusives on this CD including, but not limited to, Lazy Days demo, Dreams of an Absolution (Starry Night remix), and Open Your Heart (K-Klub Remix). I was not expecting the CD to be brand new from CDjapan, so I was even more blown away. This CD was never released digitally, but physically in Japan only. So it's the only official way to listen to some real and true gems in the Sonic music library. A MUST own. I'm not kidding. It's that good. No Sonic fan will be disappointed.
