Persona 4 Junes Food Court MugCharacter GoodsNice but rather small and with Engrish
There isn't much to say about a mug, let's be honest. What I can say is that the print is a high quality and feels like the sort of thing you'd buy from a high street shop rather than a cheap thing just made to cash in on Persona 4. I was expecting it to feel somewhat home-made but it doesn't; it feels like the sort of thing you would be able to buy from Junes if it were a real department store. The only thing that could be considered bad about it is that it's rather small. Maybe we just have immense mugs here in Britain but this is only about 2/3 of the size of any other mug I've seen. If you're used one of those big Starbuck's style "bucket mugs" then you might find drinking out of this to be rather like drinking out of a thimble. There is another bad point but isn't really the fault of the mug but rather of Persona 4 itself. As you can see, the mug is emblazoned with the horribly Engrish phrase "Everyday younglife". I'm sure I don't need to point this out but (a) it makes no sense and (b) "younglife" isn't a real word. If it had "Everyday's Great at Your Junes!" on it (from the Atlus USA localisation) it would be far better but then obviously they're going to use the (rather crappy) Japanese slogan instead. Well that's it. I managed to speak about a mug far longer than I thought possible. If you like Persona 4, you drink tea, coffee, cocoa or whatever - or maybe you just like collectibles - then I recommend this mug.

Original Video Animation Gunbuster 2 (Aim for the Top / Top wo Nerae! 2) Original SoundtrackAnimation SoundtrackExcellent
Prolific anime/game music composer, Kohei Tanaka, has created something really special here. I have to admit, I'm not big on anime or videogame music but when it's done well, it's done fantastically. This is one such example of that. If you're a fan of Diebuster (aka Top wo Nerae! 2 aka Gunbuster 2) then I'd say you should definitely buy this, but then I probably don't need to tell you that. Even if you haven't so much have heard of this excellent series, I still really recommend this OST - and also wonder why you're on this page to begin with. You'll find superb orchestral music that can be beautiful and tender or furious and menacing. To use an example that I think most people can appreciate (rather than alluding to classical composers which most people will only know in name alone, if at all) I suppose you could compare it to the music in Disney's Fantasia for its ability to conjure up image in your imagination as you listen to it. This is the only anime or videogame OST I own other than the Persona 4 one. I bought the P4 one because I love the game and the music is quite fun but this stands head and shoulders above the P4 one. This can stand proudly next to "proper" classical music whereas the P4 music doesn't bear comparison to the best, even average, pop and rock music.
