Pretty Guardian (Bishojo Senshi) Sailor Moon Super BestAnimationsailor moon, what else ?
well, I think it could be useful, so here is the track listing : 01 - DALI - Moonlight Densetsu 02 - Misae TAKAMATSU - Heart Moving 03 - Ushio HASHIMOTO - Princess Moon 04 - Yoko ISHIDA - Otome no Policy 05 - Moon Lips - Moonlight Densetsu 06 - Peach Hips - Tuxedo Mirage 07 - Miwako FUJITANI - Watashi-tachi ni Naritakute 08 - Meu - ''Rashiku'' Ikimasho 09 - Kae HANAZAWA - Sailor Star Song 10 - Arisa MIZUKI - Kaze mo Sora mo Kitto 11 - Three Lights - Nagareboshi he 12 - Three Lights - Todokanu Omoi- My Friend's Love 13 - Peach Hips - Moon Revenge 14 - Hiroko ASAKAWA - Moonlight Destiny 15 - Pretty Cast - Morning Moon de Aimasho I myself bought this CD because I really like "sailor stars song" and "moonlight densetsu", I don't really know the show or anything, so what I could say about this CD and the songs is pretty useless. let's say some of the others songs are good, but I still would have prefered a single with the 2 songs I mentionned early ;) hence the notation is so-so. If you're a real sailor moon fan, I suggest reading the other advices ^_^;;

I'd rather have an OST from "waga seishun no arcadia ~ mugen kidou SSX", but that's out of print. now that you have a tracklisting for this double-CD, I'm confident you'll know if you want to buy it or not.

I didn't know all of it, but all in all these are good songs.

Yukyu no Tsubasa 07.mix / euphoric field live.mixAnimationreally good composer. poor singer.
well, I came upon the 2 songs by accident, I'm not usually in dating sim and the like (since "ef" is based on a dating sim, like "kanon" or "air" ), but, wow !, those songs are goods ! "euphoric field" is neat, nothing much to say, you'll come across several versions if you dig a little into it, but there's not that much differences between them. "yuukyuu no tsubasa" has 2 versions, one sung by a singer that needs to learn how to sing, the other, on this CD, is sung by the seiyuu of the heroine, and the result could be improved. still, the music is so good it makes me overcome this drawback and enjoy listening to it nonetheless. I would recommend this CD to people like me who are fond of these 2 songs, but if you're into "ef" as an anime or a game, I suggest you look for a full OST or something more consistent than a CD with 2 songs on it.

Dear...Sachi Tainakanot as good as "love is..."
I was love-struck with her second album that I bought for "itoshii hito e" from "seirei no moribito", and I thought that her first album could be as great as her second. I'm a little disappointed. sure, there's "happy song" and "saikou no kataomoi", but the others songs don't sound as good. for the fate/staywhatevernight fans out there, a bit of warning : the song "symphony of fate" which combine "disillusion" and "kirameku namida wa hoshi ni", is slow-paced and symphonic, much different from the songs of "fate/whatever" I heard in karaokes and on the mini-DVD of my "love is..." first edition CD (and I like the fast-paced versions better) I still like her voice and some of the songs on this album, but seems like she needed a little bit more time to find her true style, so I recommend buying her second album instead. unless you already know a specific song on this album and want it.

Star Mania Series: Slayers [Limited Pressing]Animationslayers fans' prayer
There's most of the songs from Slayers in this album, so there's no need to ask questions about it : if you're a slayers fan, buy it. here are the complements to the incomplete track listing above : 03 - Nou Aru Rival wa Tsumen wo Kakusu 04 - Sekai Ichiban no Victory 07 - Jama wa Sasenai 10 - Otome no Inori 12 - Secret ~ Dareka no Message about what you miss : "Kujikenai Kara!", the ED of the first TV season "Breeze", the OP of the third TV season (slayers try) Never Die from the "slayers excellent" OVA Reflection from "slayers great" movie Raging Waves from "slayers gorgeous" movie Kagirinai Yokubou no Naka ni from "slayers special" OVA to name the best known ones. for the price, I think it's still a good deal.

YOU GET TO BURNING/ Watashi rashikuYumi Matsuzawa / Houko Kuwashimanadesico
I like the opening of nadesico, but I like even more the ending from houko kuwashima (yurika in the anime) given the price, and the fact that this CD packs the opening and ending themes all in one, I think it's a shame I didn't buy it sooner. much recommended for all nadesico fans.

BiidamaSaori Atsumigenshiken
Genshiken reminds me of a "japan culture promotion" association I'm a member of since before my graduation. The nostalgic feeling of the ending theme hit me right on the spot, so I bought the single. not much to say about the others songs on this CD, it didn't catch my ear. you may want to check her full albums before ordering this single, I think I would do that now, but I was a little short on cash back then.

Kagayake Shukan Shonen Anime Oh 80'sAnimationCity Hunter FTW !
first, track listing : 01 - Kaoru Kohiruimaki - City Hunter ~Ai yo Kienaide~ 02 - Toshiyuki Ousaka - Go Go Heaven 03 - PSY.S - Angel Night 04 - Fence of Defence - Sara 05 - Komuro Testuya - Running to Horizon 06 - Gwinko - Downtown Game If I'm not mistaken, this is all op from City Hunter 1, 2, 3 and '91. the main missing song is obviously "get wild". 07 - Anri - Cat's Eye 08 - Mariko Tone - Derringer the 2 op of Cat's Eye. 09 - Masanori Ikeda - Night of Summer Side 10 - Meiko Nakahara - Kagami no naka no Actress from Kimagure Orange Road 11 - Hiroyuki Okita - Moete Hero (1983) 12 - Takayuki Takemoto - Moete Hero (1985) 13 - Jetzt - So Long Dear Friend from Captain Tsubasa (1, 2 & shin) 14 - Sepia - Yogorechimatta Kanashimi ni FROM Sakigake!! Otoko Juku 15 - Yuko Ishikawa - Dreamy Dreamer FROM moeru! onii-san 16 - Night Hawks - Don't go Away 17 - Night Hawks - Shout 18 - Hidemi Miura - Kaze no Senshi from the different seasons of Fuma no Kojirou well, the City Hunter songs are good enough to justify buying this CD for them only. you got the 2 opening themes from Cat's Eye that are quite good too, especially "derringer" which is somewhat hard to find (as was "angel night" if I remember correctly), you also got some well-known KOR songs, some of Captain Tsubasa opening themes (seems like you're missing a '88 version of "moete hero" and the themes from the more recents seasons, like "dragon screamer" ), and some others (I like the themes from Sakigake!! Otoko Juku and moeru! onii-san very much, they're catchy and fun to listen to... even if I didn't even know these shows before researching them to do the tracklisting) particularly recommended to all City Hunter fan that don't already have the songs on this CD, and also all the people that liked City Hunter, Cat's Eye, Captain Tsubasa and Kimagure Orange Road. or at least, the themes from these animes ;)

Yuzurenai negai must be the first japanese song I heard in my life. like already said, there's all the song you can think of in MKR on this CD, so buying it is a natural thing if you're a fan.

GOLDEN BEST: Meiko NakaharaMeiko Nakaharavery 80es
I bought this for Kimagure Orange Road-related song ("dance in the memories" and "kagami no naka no actress" ), plus "dirty pair"'s "ru-ru-ru-russian roulette". the others songs can be catchy, but they have a very 80es feeling and may seems quite out of date to a modern ear. apart from that, the CD all in all is pretty enjoyable. I had quite some difficulties to do a proper track listing. here is what I gathered, I may have misread some kanji : 01 - Konya Dake Dance Dance Dance 02 - Go away 03 - Friday Magic 04 - Tsukiyo ni iki wo tsukete 05 - Scorpion 06 - Kimi-tachi Kiwi Papaya Mango da ne 07 - Futari no Rainy day 08 - Emotion 09 - Yakimochi Yaki Rumba Boy 10 - Ru-Ru-Ru-Russian Roulette 11 - Kowareta Piano 12 - Ambulance Zone 13 - Kagami no Naka no Actress 14 - Dance In The Memories 15 - Diamond Miruwakeru Kenasai ~Is it true love~ 16 - Fortune ~Gin no Tsukiyo no Honeymoon~ 17 - Funky Christmas (Long Version) 18 - Gemini (Special Party Version) I find the 4 last songs to be somewhat worse than the others, but with the price and the others songs, I still think it's a good deal.

Seirei no Moribito Ongaku hen 1Animation Soundtracksoundtrack only !
A warning first, this CD offers only soundtrack and BGM, no opening or closing theme. I'd suggest getting either (or both) L'arc-en-ciel or Sachi Tainaka CD to get "Shine" or "Itsohii Hito e". This soundtrack is quite good, very convincing in setting the atmosphere back to the time at wich the story took place. Recommended for all Seirei no Moribito fan.

Love is. . . [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Sachi Tainakadelighted
First, the track list, hope it will help with the regular edition too : 01 - Visit of love 02 - Dellght 03 - Lipstick 04 - Sayonara 05 - Dakishimete 06 - Ichiban Boshi 07 - HOME 08 - My Darling 09 - Nukegara 10 - Sakura Mau 11 - Itoshii Hito e 12 - Michi Then, what can I say ? I LOVE this album. I bought it for the Seirei no Moribito ending theme (Itoshii Hito e), but I love her voice, I love the way she sings, and the way she conveys emotion through her songs, even if you could call it syrupy sometimes (but then again, I also love Sarah MacLachlan, Kate Bush, The Bangles, or Dido to name a few other female singer/songwriter). One of the very first jpop artist I can really say I love to listen to, even if the songs are not from an anime (or at least, an anime I know, as Seirei no Moribito is the only anime I watched where one of her songs is used). Highly recommended.

Whisper Of The Heart (Mimi wo Sumaseba) - SoundtrackAnimation Soundtrackyou won't get it out of your ears
If you've seen the film, and I sure hope you've done so because it's one of the better Ghibli ever released, and certainly the more unjustly unrecognized, you'll want this soundtrack. The movie rely heavily on music, and here you'll get back all the feeling, the emotion, the atmosphere of the movie. The only drawback to this CD is that the opening version of "Country Road" by Olivia Newton-John isn't included, you'll have the "violin version" (when Shizuku sings) and the ending theme version (when Yoko Honna, seiyuu for Shizuku, sings), though. Definitely needed for any Ghibli fan truly worthy of the name.

To sum it up, plenty of animes' themes for a good price considering the sheer number of songs. Recommended.

Whisper Of The Heart (Mimi wo Sumaseba) (English Subtitles)AnimationTake this DVD home !
First, there IS english subtitle on this DVD. A little tricky to find and enable when you don't know how to read the kanji for "English", but they are here. Then, there's the movie itself. I'm so sad this fantastic masterpiece is still widely unknown by most and overlooked by those who do know of its existence. Unlike most Ghibli which features various degree of fight, Mimi wo Sumaseba is only interested in the growing relationship between its 2 main characters. It's a very heart-warming story, more sentimental than any other Ghibli, but it's only natural for a story taken from a shoujo manga. I felt also quite heartbroken when I learned that the main director for this movie died without directing any other work. In France, I grow tired of waiting for the release of an official DVD, so I bought this one instead. Highly recommended for all Ghibli fan.

primary colors [Regular Edition]day after tomorrownot that much
For those who don't know, this group is founded by ex-Every Little Thing keyboard Mitsuru Igarashi. They sound a bit like ELT, but Misono do not have the voice of Kaori Mochida. Some songs do sound good, and that's why I bought this album that has the 2 songs I like from DAT, namely "Itazura na Kiss" (Inu Yasha 6th ending) and "Starry Heavens" (intro from the game Tales of Symphonia), but that's about it, all other songs in this CD are not really worth mentioning, it's not that they're bad, it's just they're average minus minus at best. Well, sometimes I'm in for a good surprise when I buy a CD on a whim, but that was not the case here. Still, "Starry Heavens" is a very good song. Better get the single for it directly. (and the single for Itazura na Kiss, too, I think 2 singles are cheaper than a full-length album, but check for expedition fee)

Danzai no Hana -Guilty Sky [Shipping Within Japan Only]Riyu KosakaClaymore's ending
Well, if you've seen the anime, you should know the song. You have the full version here, and it has only gotten better with the extended duration. The English lyrics-version is somewhat slower and not so nice, but it does feel good to understand the meaning of the song without subtitles, for once ^^;; The other song "Ignore" is not as good as Danzai no Hana, but pretty listenable anyway. Highly recommended CD if the song caught your ears when viewing the anime, you will find a longer version, an English version, and an instrumental version of the song. Pretty good deal ^_^ !

edge/Tasogare no Umi - .hack//Liminality Intro Theme Song & Outro Theme SongSee-SawEdge
This single is the only way to get your hand on the song "Edge", if I'm not mistaken. I'm not very happy about it (hence the low rating), being a big fan of Yuki Kajiura / See-Saw, I wanted to have this song, so I bought this. I would have preferred to get this along with an entire album, but I didn't see it anywhere else, or only on OST I'm not interested in (I'm not interested in .hack PS/2 games, as I don't have and don't plan to buy anything "Sony"-branded anytime soon, and I'm a little tired of the .hack anime license) Well, enough for the rant, if you're only interested in one of the two songs, that's it for you, else you should consider buying an entire album of either Yuki Kajiura / See-Saw (Tasogare no Umi is on "Dreamfield", track 2), or an OST of the PS/2 game (I don't remember the OST where you can get "Edge", please see that for yourself.)

Kimi ga ita monogatari ".hack//Tasogare no Udewa Densetsu" Outro theme song "Emerald Green"See-SawKimi ga Ita Monogatari
This single is the only way to get the anime version of "Kimi ga Ita Monogatari", and I bought it since I prefer the anime version over the "Dream Field Mix". I'm not really happy (hence the rating) about this way of doing "remix" version here and there, and not giving the original version anywhere but on a single, but well, it's not the first time I experienced this :/ If you're not this concerned about this song's versions, well, you should try to buy "Dream Field", it's a little more expensive (but not as you think, because of the delivery fee that stay the same between album and single), but you will have all the songs here and a whole lot of other good ones. In fact, unless you only like "Emerald Green", "Kimi ga Ita Monogatari" and "Kioku" (of which you'll get only the 90 sec edit on this single), you should get the full "Dream Field" album instead of this single. Unless you're as concerned as I am about the anime version of "Kimi ga Ita Monogatari".
