Yorokobi no Uta [Regular Edition]KAT-TUNcatchy
Coincidently (or purposely?) released on 2007/06/06, this single also emphasizes the happiness of Akanishi's return and importance of "6 people's KAT-TUN" in each member's heart. The A track is very very catchy, and has a light-hearted "love confession" lyrical content despite the rock beats. You'll find yourself humming it subconsciously after a few listens! The lines are also distributed evenly among the members and you can hear each voice clearly. The B track is a typical KAT-TUN styled ballad (a fast-paced ballad), with a nice melody that is contagious as well. Both songs are relatively shorter compared to other KAT-TUN songs, but are really catchy :) I'm not really into the cover for either editions though.

Bokura no Machi de [Regular Edition (First Press)]KAT-TUNinteresting...
KAT-TUN's 3rd single The plus side of getting the First Press is that you will receive 2 extra tracks (Le ciel ~kimi no shiawase inoru kotoba~ [X'mas Remix 5 Verson] and its karaoke track). I perfer KAT-TUN's older music style, but the songs on this CD will grow on you. Oda Kazumasa writes nice sentimental ballads, and the Christmas remix of Le Ciel is pretty refreshing. Akanishi Jin's absence does result in the songs having a overall weaker feeling, but the other five have covered for him well. (but honestly, most people buy KT's releases for novelty purposes...) The designs for the CD and the KAT-TUN signature are nice~~

Maho no KotobaSpitzVery nice single
A little sad that there are only two songs, but overall I am very satisfied with this single~ The designs for the CD cover, the slip and the CD itself is simple and cute, and the two songs on here are fantastic =)
