Disraeli Gears (STEREO & MONO) +6 [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)] [SHM-SACD] [Limited Release]CreamDisraeli Gears SHM-SACD
This disc is the best I've heard Disraeli Gears, including the original vinyl. Excellent clarity, well balanced, analog sounding and very crankable. The original recording is no audiophile masterwork and you can still hear limitations, but this disc is a great improvement, particularly from previous digital releases. The mono version of Strange Brew rocks! While excellent quality, the new style of packaging takes up more room and I would prefer the previous type of packaging, but that's a minor issue. A "must have" issue for Cream fans.

Through The Past. Darkly (Big Hits Vol.2) [SHM-SACD] [Limited Release]The Rolling StonesNice!
A couple of highlights: Honky Tonk Women and 2000 Light Years From Home are absolutely sensational - detail I'd never heard before and wonderful dynamics for their age. On the other hand Paint It Black and Let's Spend the Night Together are relatively flat. The remaining tracks are all good. More than happy with this disc.

Let It Bleed [SHM-SACD] [Limited Release]The Rolling StonesA must own for Stones fans
Short version: sensational album and wonderful mastering. Having heard some poor CD transfers in the past that never compared to the original vinyl, I was wondering if I'd ever get to hear it the way I remembered. This SACD version is great - detail I'd never heard before. Get it!
