Something special, old and new
"Vampire's Love" is possibly the best single by VAMPS. Though I loved all their previous works, here's something special. The sound reminds me of the tones HYDE had in his very first solo project album, "Roentgen". Even so, there's still that occidental touch that VAMPS are exploring, with a great English in the first song. Then we have the piano version: excellent. I love the way VAMPS try (successfully, in my opinion) to be an international band, never forgetting about their immortal japanese side. "Vampire's Love -Piano ver.-" emphasizes HYDE's beautiful voice with the japanese lyrics. I'm not a fan of the remix version, but I think it's okay to mix genres for all tastes in a single edition. The PV is touching and awesome, reminds me a lot of the "Roentgen Stories". I really like this single, and I'm pretty sure everyone who loves HYDE (and VAMPS) from the start will love this music as well.
