CaliforniaWilson PhillipsCalifornia, Here I Come!
Wilson Phillips' reunited after over a decade had passed since they had released their multi-platinum debut and follow-up albums. This concept album features covers of songs from the 60's and 70's recorded by California artists or artists with the "California sound". The results are mixed, but the stand-out track "Go Your Own Way" completely re-envisions the Fleetwood Mac classic into a mellow sonic masterpiece. "Old Man" also benfits from the trademark Wilson Phillips harmony. This edition also contains the exclusive a capella (no instrumentation) version of "Turn! Turn! Turn!"

We Belong TogetherMariah CareyWhat a bargain!
This CD single for Mariah's record-breaking hit "We Belong Together" includes the album track and an instrumental cut, in case you're ever in a karaoke kind of mood. The record label has made this release especially affordable and has offered up a unique picture sleeve as well!

MIMI Special Edition [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Mariah CareyOut-Moded Edition
This edition of "The Emancipation of Mimi" is rather pointless now that the Ultra Platinum edition has been released. The UP edition contains everything here plus 4 more tracks, and several more videos. Of course this edition does include an very short exclusive interview. Still, this is an excellent album that more than stands on its own merits. Also, the DVD is all-region despite what the official description has listed.

The Emancipation Of Mimi Platinum Edition [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Mariah CareyThe Ultimate Emancipation Edition
Mariah Carey and Universal Records have released countless editions of her best-selling opus "The Emancipation of Mimi", but this is the one that stands out above all others. This album contains the entire Mimi album with four new tracks plus the bonus tracks "Sprung" (only available on international versions of "Mimi") and "Secret Love" (a Japan exclusive). This edition also includes a DVD with the Emancipation of Mimi videos. Only the Japanese version includes the music video for "Don't Forget About Us" on the actual disc. The USA release requires a weblink to view the video. This DVD is actually an "all-region" disc, despite what the official description says. If you are a Mariah fan, you definitely need to have this CD/DVD set in your collection.
