30th ANNIVERSARY HIT SINGLE COLLECTION 37 [Regular Edition]THE ALFEEAll That and Several Bags of Chips
Yes, The Alfee is a stage in its career where it has released several Greatest Hits albums already. Yes, you probably own several of them already. Yes, 1 disk of this collection is fairly recent material. And yes, my favorite Alfee song is not on here. But this is still a must-buy. Production values are great, the remixes are brighter than ever, and the older material is very nicely covered. And if you have no Alfee CDs yet and need to know which collection to get, look no farther.

Kibou no Hashi [w/ DVD, Initial pressing only limited release]THE ALFEEBring on the cheese!
The song itself is a fabulous, standard rocker from The Alfee. But should you buy the video? Primarily this video consists of footage shot in a large empty room, and is usually a 3-shot, or a shot of one of the members. But it's the cheese we're after: lots of slow-mo walking, inexplicable close-ups of Takamizawa's eyes, the angel guitar, and many dramatic shots of the background "Ah's" being sung. Nothing compares to the the guitar solo, and it doesn't disappoint--Takamizawa in the blonde hair metal wig playing the smaller white guitar. Buy it and file it under guilty pleasures.
