the performance was great, and rather long, too. a great surprise and celebration of her anniversary. however, the packaging was rather sparse for limited edition.

La meilleur selection de Malice Mizer Best SelectionMALICE MIZERLa Meilleur
This is definately the best of Malice Mizer. Of course, I am a little biased since I am a Gackt fan and all the songs are from the Gackt era. Truly the best of the best, except for NPGs and ILLUMINATI, I felt it could have done without those tracks.

Returner - Yami no Shuen [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]GacktAmazing
It is good to hear from Gackt again! I liked the last single but it was just acoustic so I was waiting for him to start doing rock songs again. This is a pretty heavy rock track, very powerful, and very good. I don't know if it might be in his next album because the Samurai influence seems very heavy, but it is a great song nonetheless. The live tracks were great as well, I like CUBE better live than the recording but I prefer the studio recording of Birdcage to the live one found on this single.

Sakihokoru Hana no Yo ni / Kabuki BOIZ [w/ DVD, Limited Edition / A Type]MiyaviNeo style
This single was pretty surprising because it is a mix of rock-like music and a sort of hip-hop flavor. It is by no means hip-hop, but the collaboration with the kabuki boys definately gives it that sort of flavor. Miyavi is still running the show and his guitar skills are on display again. These songs are fun and quite different from his other works. The acoustic track was good as well.

DIABOLOSGacktGreat
This album is amazing from start to finish. The first track, Misty, is an instrumental that merges perfectly into the second track. The beggining tracks are more emotional and then around black stone, it breaks out into more fun and the last track is a great closer.

Adult [Regular Edition]Tokyo JihenWhat can I say?
This album is amazing. The way the tracks blend into each other is amazing. It is a smoother, more laid back, jazzy style compared to their first album, Kyouiku but rock nonetheless. The sounds are unlike anything I've heard before and very pleasing to listen to. This band has really evolved.

Heisei Fuzoku [Regular Edition]Ringo Sheena, Neko SaitoGreat album
This album is a masterpiece. Some tracks are covers of her old songs, but the new arrangements are amazing. The track order is very good, the songs follow each other very well. Kono yo no kagiri is a great and dramatical closer. If you like orchestrated music, this album is just for you. Ringo makes great music with Neko Saito and her singing is very unique and emotional.
