050306HUSKING BEEThank You Husking Bee!
The last performance of a band's existance is always something of high expectations. And HUSKING BEE completely acheieved any expectations I had of them for their last performance as a band. With a good 30+ song long set list of songs, ranging from their first album to their last, and over 3 hours of live footage, HUSKING BEE makes sure they go out with a memorable bang.

SUN SUN SUNSparta LocalsLying in the Sun
An excellent CD for those who like the sound of bands like Bloc Party. Pretty much every track is a quality song, with some standing out more than others ("Peace (Remix)" and "UFO Banzai"). I'd recommend it to anyone interested in something lively.

Synchronized RockersV.A.Great Treat For Pillows Fans
Being a huge pillows fan, I thought I owed it to myself to pick this CD up. And I'm not disappointed at all. The covers follow the original songs pretty well and yet are different enough to keep me interested. I particularly liked the covers of "CARNIVAL", "Sad Sad Kiddie", and "vain dog (in rain drop)". The other covers are also very well done. The only drawback of this album is that it ends with you wanting much more and it feels very short.

Hunting!!!!THE PREDATORSEasy Prey
If anyone wondered what the pillows, GLAY, and STRAIGHTENER would sound like if they mixed their sound, this is probably the closest it will ever get. When listening to the CD, the listener can immediately pick up on certain aspects of each band in the sound of the music. However, this is probably hit-or-miss with fans of each respective band. The variety in said sound is lacking as well. Most of the songs sound extremely similar with the exception of "Last Hunting", the last song of the CD. However, it is still a very solid CD and worth checking out if you are a fan of either the pillows, GLAY, or STRAIGHTENER.
