Zero no SoraAsakusa JintaA mish-mash of genres. But, i love it!
I don't even know where to begin when it comes to this band, and this album. This is some kind of fast paced rock/pomp/jazz/reggae-smush i can't even describe. It's very wierd, and very very good. The musicianship is over the top, the vocals are good and fitting and the songwriting is outstanding. There's actually no filler tracks either, in my opinion. They are all very good. It's not an album for everyone, considering the mish-mash of genres, but for those of you who find my "description" of the band interesting, by all means buy this album. Chances are that you'll find a masterpiece as i did. Favourites from this album includes Sky "Zero", Ride & Bend, Crow's Dance and Tokyo Eastend Rockers.

From Me To YouYUIGreat debut.
A great debut indeed. There's hardly any filler tracks to be found. YUI's voice is very good, especially considering her age. Her songwriting is even better (as you might've figured out already) and the production is flawless. This is surely a must-have for any kind of j-pop/rock junkie. YUI is also the only artist i know of who can make the words Spiral and Escape actually rhyme. Personal favourites on this album includes Merry Go Round, Life and Tokyo.

Can't Buy My Love [Regular Edition]YUIAnother great release!
Here we have another great release from YUI. I get the feeling that this album is a bit more rockish than "From Me To You", or maybe it's just Rolling Star playing tricks on my mind. Anyway, as always, YUI's voice is beautiful and so is her songwriting. Almost no filler tracks here either which in my opinion is a very good thing. Favourites from this album includes How Crazy, Rolling Star and CHE.R.RY

Bu IkikaesuMAXIMUM THE HORMONEYet another A-class album from MTH.
Maximum the Hormone is famous for their funky metal approach, and this album is not an exception. This is funk/metal/j-rock at it's prime. As always the musicianship is great, the production is good and the songwriting is great. There's songs for almost everyone here and they never get boring. They have such a unique sound and a happy feeling that no songs feel like fillers. Any respectable MTH fan already got this album in their collection, so i don't need to recommend it to fans. But people who are new to MTH's funky magic should really try this album out. There's a big chance that you'll end up having a very good time amongst the 13 songs this album has to offer. Favourite songs on this album.. ehm. Buiikikaesu, Zetsubou Billy, Kuso Breakin No Breakin Lily, Black \ Power G Menspy, Shimi and Koi no Mega Lover. Yeah.. that was like, half the album.
