Ageha [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]MUCCAwesome new stuff.
A great single with an even greater B-side. Aoi Mori is very haunting, and one of the best B tracks I've heard in a while.

Ageha [Regular Edition]MUCCSomething different
Ageha itself is a great track. It still sounds like MUCC while at the same time, there's a sense of influence from the bands they toured with on Taste of Chaos. The drumline is excellent, the guitar riffs and bassline are on par with their previous works, and the vocals are classic Tatsurou. Concrete082, unfortunately, isn't to my liking. It falls a little flat by comparison. Still sounds like MUCC though.

Kamikaze [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]D'espairsRayAwesome addition
A great single, really fits in with their latest style since MIRROR. The B side isn't as dark as one might think it should be for balance, but it's a great song on its own, considerably heavier than Kamikaze itself.

Utagoe [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]MUCCWorth the extra money
This single is worth the extra money for the DVD. It's nearly an hour's worth of behind the scenes footage of the MUCC boys being themselves. Get it while it's still in stock!

BrilliantD'espairsRayFairly brilliant....
Okay, enough with the "Brilliant" jokes. Some people don't like that D'espairsRay is doing so many "light" releases, but that's partly because they overlook the fact that D'espairsRay is both light and dark. This obviously is one of from the light side of them. Regarding the single itself, it's of the same caliber as their Mirror singles. It shouldn't disappoint any fan of "Mirror", though I will point out that it's not at the top of my list, and some of the singles from Mirror were. Though I have only listened to it once. ;D

Black List [CD+DVD (Type A) / Jacket A]Acid Black CherryA great first album
Considering the man introduced his solo talents to us with both original works and recreation tracks, we only had a small sampling of what Yasu could do on his own. This is a great album, with a fair amount of variety in tempo and beat and melody. He does seem to be experimenting with what he wants to sound like, but I don't believe this to be a shortcoming on the album. It all comes together nicely and feels deliberate. If you liked any of the singles, I highly recommend it.

Core [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Kagrra,A nice improvement
While it's very difficult to surpass the near perfection that was ~san~, fans weren't asking for too much when we wanted something a bit catchier than Shizuku. CORE is that improvement, and it's nice to hear the new quality in Isshi's voice. The songs on this album stand out amidst each other, and one isn't left thinking that they've just listened to a 50-minute song, as was the case with Shizuku.

CurrentSchwarz SteinA great intro to this departed duet
It's a shame that this band wasn't together longer. They made a great team. This single is a great example to fine dance beats and vocals from Hora and Kaya. Suitable for dance clubs, easily.

Bastard [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]VidollNot bad at all
I bought this album for a friend, an avid Vidoll fan. I don't care for them much, myself, but when we listened to this album, I actually found myself enjoying it. Jui's voice was better than I remembered, and the music was enjoyable with enough variety to distinguish each song from one another. That's always good, right? Highly recommended for any Vidoll fan.

Fuzz [Regular Edition]MUCCGreat new single!
I'm not much of a single fan, but I fell in love with this one. The title track and remix are phenomenal and made a MUCC fan out of me, despite the contrast in styles from previous works, the B track is great and equally catchy. I love it, I love it, I love it!

No ni Saku Hana no Yo Ni [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]GacktNot what some expect.
A very pretty song, with some equally pleasing remixes on the single. The special addition comes with a tab sheet of the song, complete with lyrics. One of his slower ballads, though still pleasing for most any Gackt fan.

Ryojoku no Ame [Limited Edition]Dir en greyAmazing progess
This CD is an amazing testimony to DeG's progression through the years. It's still as hard as they've been recently, but it's also as melodic and thoughtful as ever.
