Kumi Koda Live Tour 2008 -Kingdom-Kumi KodaDifferent opinion
I loved the "Black Cherry" tour DVD, but I didn't like this concert at all. Pre-ordered it but only managed to watch it through all the way today (2 months later). Kingdom album is a good album but the concert is just plain boring. The reason might be that this concert consist heavily out of Kuchan's ballad songs which I mostly dislike. And the performances also miss all the oomph in her songs. Opens with Under and FREAKY which are great songs but the performance here is not nearly up to a par. Oh well, atleast the pre-encore video was funny-ish and they do pick up some missed potential in the DANCE BATTLE.

Ayumi Hamasaki Count Down Live 2007-2008 AnniversaryAyumi HamasakiWorth every penny... again
I fail to find the words to describe how excellent this concert is. At first I thought that the tracklisting was nothing special, mediocore old stuff at tops with just a couple of newer songs, but after watching the show I had to change my opinion. Ayu's presence and her energy with her amazingly talented band and dancers give the audience again an unforgettable experience that stands unique among other artists around the globe. She did it again - rocked my world.

Koda Kumi Live Tour 2007 -Black Cherry- Special Final in Tokyo Dome [Limited Edition / Jacket A]Kumi KodaWOW!
Amazing show from Kumi. I just hope she keeps doing these (can't wait for The Kingdom live... hopefully there will be one). I really liked the three different themed stages of the concert + encores. Only the cutting was a bit too hectic from time to time. Overall an excellent live concert DVD.

ayumi hamasaki Asia Tour 2007 A -Tour of Secret- "LIVE + DOCUMENTARY"Ayumi HamasakiBroken integrity
Seems like the package broke some postal records: shipped from Japan on the 10th and arrived to me in Finland on the 12th - AMAZING! But to the product itself... The major flaw with the DVD that annoyed me is that the "behind-the-scenes" documentary clips have been embedded between the concert performances breaking the overall emotional mood of the concert, which I have always loved in Ayu's concerts. It's somewhat justified because it really isn't a one concert but a compilation of concert performances from the Asia Tour. Nevertheless Ayu's performances are solid and high quality as always. What I miss is the integrity of the overall experience. If you're new to Ayu's music and live performances I'd recommend some other concert DVD to start with. Old fans will howl to the moon with this one as always ^_^

Zenbu Pucchimoni (Petit Moni)Pucchimoni (Petit Moni)Still gets you smiling
Although pretty old album, it still has preserved it's energetic and fun overall mood after all these years. Every time I hear the girls sing "Pittari shitai Xmas" I feel the need to hitch a ride from santa and get me to Japan (and wrap my loving arms around Kei). Probably one of the more underrated albums of Morning Musume (Hello! project) subgroups (still waiting for the Coconuts Musume album...).

Withering to deathDir en greyHow can it get better?
Definedly the best album from Dir en grey till today. Sounds are inventive, fresh and raw with pure feeling. I like the sound of the vocalist and how he can rev and pitch his voice to correspond the mood of the song only to end up singing softly until revving up again. I don't think there is even a one group in the western world which could make similar recording, with such high quality from the beginning till the last track.
