NUMBER GIRLNUMBER GIRLWorth of the hype and something more
Absolutely a good way and maybe the only way to get into Number Girl & their history! As you want it to be, the DVD covers their old live songs etc, and PVs etc. It's actually an quite a package, that lives you craving more and more but lives you satisfied. If you know them get it, and even if you dont but want to! this is a good purchase to get since it covers much of what you just need.

SCHOOL GIRL DISTORTIONAL ADDICTNUMBER GIRLcomfortable grip
It's just not the unique mesmerizing music. It's also about Mukai's lyrics, who couldn't relate to those things that Mukai is singing here? Not to mension NG has been a huge role model for the currents Japanese bands like AKFG, so it's just right to know where things evolved. So cant go wrong with one of their bestest albums...if not one of the icon albums of year 1999 in japanese indie rock music scene.

Quiet Room ni Yokoso (English Subtitles) Special Edition [Limited Release]Japanese MovieI was..
This was my very first film ever, that i had seen from director Suzuki Matsuo. The movie is based on his novel.haven't never readed it actually, but decided to go all wild, and bought the movie. and oh boy let me say, i was not dissapointed..even though the script lags on somepoints, some characters like Tetsuo - played by Kudo Kankuro carry the show own easily, and while that happens you get some sweet laughs and awwwww moments once in a while during the movie put at the end the day, it is all about seriousness mixed with some laughs, camera work is quite okay, would not except more from this kinda of movie so it's worth a buy but still be prapared that you might not like it but i did.

Duet [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Chick Corea & Hiromi UeharaDuet of the sweet melodies.
Great live recording of this fantastic duet, nicely selected songs and fantastic audience. Only drawback might be the fact that the dvd did only have 2 songs included but truth to be told i watched them silently trough and i was stunned absolutely stunning perfomances. and truely what a great release.

Sakuran (English Subtitles)Japanese Movietender..like falling cherryblossom.
No doubtly director Mika Ninagawa, and the rest of the group delivered a movie of a century... honestly visually the most eyes melting movie of recent history anywhere, lot of effort is truely put on here The cinematography is breathtaking, It is also heart warming to see that Ninagawa did actually succeeded to include and transform his trademark on motion picture, specially when this is her first shot in this area. Everything truly works perfectly the score, plot, lighting actors it's like a major step to something really unique and unseen.

the Bouncing FamilySHAKALABBITSfantastic and different kind of release
Absolutely worth of the money for every ShakaLabbits fan, this dvd gives you an acces to see Shakalabbits behind the curtains, and of course you see also them perfoming live. The description roadmovie truely fits in here, only cons would be the amount of the songs that were included in this documentary roadmovie but then again the amount of behind the scenes which is so rare in live dvd's covers that up and makes this a perfect gift for christmas for every Shaka fan.

Utaite MyouriRingo Sheenano debate, clear win..
Emotionally for some fans this must be one of the most urgent releases of Shiina Ringo, this is like an inside biography of hers to all of his fans, atmospheric feelings flow trough these two discs to the end. And truely Shiina' does sound like younger Edith Piaf in her nostalgic cover take of autumn leaves, no doubt this is gold! a true gem by one of the most uniquest artist of Japan.

Senko ShojoTokyo Jihenrecommended
96k/24bit sound is a nice treat for every audiophile available that are into Tokyo Jihen and this release makes no difference...this dvd single contains nice variety of Tokyo Jihen's variety Great quality no debate on there, the promotional videos did no justice on tv, but here on dvd they do.

Every Little Thing 10th Anniversary Special Live at Nippon BudokanEvery Little Thing10th years and more to come
Energitic perfomance provided by Kaori and the rest of the group, visually the perfomance is absolutely stunning and the show is captured greatly for this dvd release....great setlist is also definitely worth of mentioning but in all means its absolutely not their bestest setlist if we think this is one their 10th year perfomances, but then again the way how Mocchi and Ichiro presented some of the songs were and are so stunning that its all just matter of how you look at it. No need to say that every live recorded at budokan is always memorable and this makes no difference.

Killer TuneTokyo Jihenshowcase...
Great warm-up single, for their new album variety. Still Killer Tune is far away from Adult eras acid jazz tripping wild & mellow trip and its totally far away from their debut album Kyoikus trashy brilliant sound. But still this is the old and safe TJ we know..not bad decision to get this, since its still fresh and maybe even sligtly untouchable Tokyo Jihen release! which surely will be enjoyed by all Shiina/TJ fans around the globe.

Kabukityou no joou(Queen)Ringo SheenaQueen of lusty night..
Mesmerizing single by Shiina Ringo! Includes one of her most loved songs, kabukicho no jyoou... great single for the everlasting summer nights. Simply said this single will take you to Tokyo's Shinjuku everytime you pop this single on to your jukebox.

Lucky Me / Loves.LOVES.Fantastic
Aiha never ceases to amaze those who are aware of him, here she goes with her new band called LOVES. And the prduction and the sound are almost identical to her solo career material and her first band SGSKHKH!

Love Piece [CD+DVD]Ai OtsukaAnother Ai am best of?
This album works but still its just basically another Ai am best of album. Couple of new songs and handfull of old ones are the key points here, but hey they work quite well. The whole package seems to satisfie and old Otsuka Ai fan like me, so newer fans will probably fall for this too. So it aint bad release, but then again it aint that ground breaking either...probably it will give an impression like: hey! its nice to see Ai releasing new stuff, but she could have done more than just this.

Uso wo Mazekonda Shinjitsu no SoupSHAKALABBITSAbsolutely
This album summarizes the variety of ShakaLabbits! it has that old groovines of shakalabbits that we are used to hear from their earlier releases like bunrning cylinder! and then it has that more lighter sound from Crimson Square and oh please when you combine them it pretty much tells you to get this album on your hand. Since they havent changed a bit they are still the kings of Japanese ska-pop-punk.
