[ZERO] [w/DVD, Limited Edition]DuelJewelThe only good release from Japan in 2010
After the horrendous release from every artist from Japan in 2010 i was extremely skeptical of this release especially after the mini-album "Will" which was just terrible... Anyway, i listened to this and was absolutely amazed, the opening song "Bastard" starts off very heavily, and is nothing like anything released in Japan at this time, it doesn't follow a typical pop sound it just doesn't, it's very DuelJewel, then the song "Oborozuki" is the song chosen to promote this mini album, it is actually surprisingly complex, it has a few progressive metal influences and even changes it's time signature a few times such as in the bridge i think i counted 5/8 for a bar, i'm not sure, so yeah, if you enjoy that song you should check out progressive metal artists too, the next song "Kaede" is one of my least favourite songs but it's not too bad, it's still better than everything else released in japan this year, it's is a very light song and also carries a few progressive metal influences, for example the bridge is in a 3/4 time signature and the guitar and piano follows progressive metal elements, not a bad song at all, the next song "Code:Liberate" is pretty heavy and has very dark chords, the chorus is quite pop, and just what you expect from DuelJewel, the bridge is also very strange, they completely ignore the time signature although it is kind of 4/4 but the guitar does not follow this pattern, the last song on the album "Lost" is probably the only song on the album that sounds anything like any of the songs on "Will" but it also has that very classic DuelJewel sound and also sounds quite abit like "Kogetsu" from "The Birth" single, but anyway this is quite slow and light and has a pretty catchy chorus, one of my least favorites but i still enjoy this song. So to rap this up, get this release, seriously it's just realy good.

JewelyBoxDuelJewelVery Good DVD
DuelJewel don't release much live footage so i figured i had to get this. The music videos are all pretty good and interesting, especialy the pv for es, which has such powerful imagery. The live songs started with konsui mekemeke doll which was a great performance with so much energy, it then went into the next song akatsuki which i had never heard before, it seemed like a good song and makes me want the mini album "noah". The next song is "kogetsu" from the birth single, this song was very calm and slow compared to the first two songs and is very strong song. The next song is "betray" which is also quite calm but brightens up the atmosphere slightly. The last song on the DVD is Reincartion.Flow which was my favourite part of the DVD, that performance was amazing, and i watch it on a regular basis. Buy this if you're interested in how DuelJewel are live.

REVIVEDuelJewelPretty good
I hadn't heard too much of DuelJewel's earlier releases, and so i figured i should get this, im am glad i did. "colors" is the new song on the album, i thought the guitar riff in this song was a little annoying but i enoyed the rest of the song. I very much enjoyed Konsui mekemeke DOLL and NEVER BLUE more than the originals, they were alot like the orignal only produced better. My favourite song on the album was trust, it shows the more heavy style of DuelJewel, which i love. I recommend this if you haven't heard much of DuelJewel's earlier releases.

Calling [Limited Release]UnsraWVery good EP
I was very pleases with this EP from UnsraW. The introduction actualy did scare me when i first heard it, it sounds like it could be on a horror film's soundtrack. It then goes straight into "BLACK OUT" which is a heavy song with alot of energy. The next song is "Last quarter" which is very emotional and mostly in english (although you cannot tell because most of the lyrics in the booklet are missing for this song), it is very dark and then goes heavier along with very emotional screaming from Yuuki. The next song is "under the skin" which is the heaviest song on the album. There is then a softer song "Enshoku No Yume". The last song is "ALIVE" which is an amazing song and it ends the mini-album perfectly. Buy this while it's still in stock if you're an UnsraW fan.

Reborn [Limited Release]UnsraWVery good release
This is the first release from UnsraW in a year so i looked forward to it alot. The song started with "Nightmare" which shown that UnsraW's sound had matured, and it was quite soft compared to their earlier releases but still shown a heavy, dark sound, this is probably my favourite song from this single. The next song is "REBORN" which was heavier than "Nightmare" but still less heavy than their previous releases. The last song is "SWITCH" which was very soft and is more of a ballad than the rest of the songs on this single, it closes the single quite well making you want more. Buy this if you are a fan of UnsraW's latest releases.
