Feel Mie 1988-1991Yumi TanimuraEssential!
I have all Tanimura Yumi's albums and listen to them regularly, but never thought to start buying the concerts until recently. This selection is taken from several performances, cleverly edited together to create a continuous musical and visual experience. There isn't a single dull moment. Tanimura Yumi is very comfortable on stage and is great to watch, especially when having fun with her fellow musicians, who are all awesome performers. Another delight is Yumi's wardrobe: her choice of clothes is always striking and delightful. To summarise, this an essential purchase for anyone who loves Tanimura Yumi's music, especially the earlier jazz-coloured songs, or a newcomer with a passion for late 80s/early 90s Jpop. The picture quality is very clear.

Toki no SilhouetteaikoExcellent
If you love Aiko, you'll have bought this already, or at least be considering whether to buy it. It's very much a continuation of her previous album 'Baby' in terms of sound, and while there isn't a weak song here, there's no real stand-out one, which is why I've given 'Toki no Silhouette' 4 stars rather than 5. It's still a must-have for any fan, and the songwriting is consistently 5-stars and instantly recognisable. There's nothing to dislike in Aiko: her music is always very sunny and can stand any amount of replays. I just wish she'd surprise us now and again (like the opening timpani roll the began her very first album). If you're still wondering whether to buy this or something else, do go ahead and buy this... and buy something else as well.
