MK-SK Sakura Powder Brush / Chikuhodo Makie SeriesMakeup BrushOne of the most beautiful Maki-e brushes
Usually not a flower fanatic, but the red branches and different holographic flowers as you turn the brush around was just so eye catching. You can also see specks of red scattered around the brush as you rotate it. Since squirrel bristles actually pick up light amount of powder and apply diffusely, large squirrel brushes with round flat designs like this are actually very great at patting on or swiping products on your face efficiently while achieving diffuse makeup application.

No.87 Eyebrow BrushMakeup BrushGreat stiff brush for eyebrow
The body of the bristles are stiff, but the ends are soft and bendable. Depending on pressure, it can be used for defined or diffused application of eyebrow powder. The width is great if you want to create vertical shadows in the inner eyebrow. No thin enough for drawing in hairlike strokes with eyebrow pomade.

Koyomo hana Pearl White Face BrushMakeup BrushVery soft goat hairs
Touted as one of the softest goat hair brushes available now in the market so I wanted to try to avoid setting makeup with squirrel brushes. I definitely agree that on skin they are the slightly softer than rephr, Wayne goss 13, and the Koyudo y-01 powder brush. These brushes are definitely soft that they don’t pick up as much products as other goat brushes I have, but the high bundling density still give them resistance and volume allowing effective powder application. The shaft of the bristles definitely look and feel coarse considering the hair type as Haku-ototsuho Yomo, compared to Wayne goss 13 Saikoho hair. The face brush is great for patting and swiping on products. I use adapalene on my skin for acne, so my skin is sensitive. I didn’t feel any poking sensation, but repetitive application and buffing can still lead to sensitivity. But this is only after I intentionally tried to apply with pressure and passed through my skin more than 20 times to see if anything will happen. So, for now I am happy I bough them, and will use them with squirrel or fox hair brushes in my routine. I love the white pearlescent handle and metallic dark pink ferrule. The shape and size of the handles looks and feels ergonomic to use even though they are shorter than most face brushes I have.

Koyomo hana Pearl White Blush BrushMakeup BrushVery soft Goat hair
The blush brush is a great size for buffing in powder products especially finishing powder. Since the brush has high density of hair as a round brush it will apply blush in a larger area than flat blush brushes. I alos got the face brush version, and shared the same sentiments as below. RR-C2 Cheek Brush / Chikuhodo Regular Series RedMakeup BrushGreat detail cheek brush
I love this for detailed blush application and shimmery blush topper application. The brush itself is shorter than I expected, but I love the red color of the handle. Definitely a must have from the red series.

No.119 Eyeshadow BrushMakeup Brushsoft eyeshadow contour
Good brush to lay down a shade that is your skin tone or slightly darker as over all base for eyeshadow. It's also Narrow enough on the side to put lighter powder in the inner corner to highlight deep set hooded eyes in the inn er corner. Definitely as soft as pure squirrel, but with resistance of the horse hair.

No.125 Shadow Liner BrushMakeup BrushSoft liner brush
Very much worth it for soft liner brush, or to blend out harsh liner. Very soft bristles. It is long enough to work for inner corner highlight as well.

y-01 Powder Brush / KOYUDO Yoshiki SeriesMakeup BrushGreat spherical buffer
I love this for buffing powders in, especially powder foundations. I love buffing in powders with large domed top than flat top brushes. The spherical shape makes it easier to buff around since the edges are not limited to the angle of how domed it is on top. Its quite soft for how dense it is. Definitely softer than my rephr 24 that I use for the same purpose. Haven't felt a bristle poke me yet.

FO-3 Cheek / Chikuhodo FO SeriesMakeup BrushGreat paddle shaped brush
Among the FO series, this and FO-4 are the only ones I got. It is multifunctional in size and shape. Lightweight so can be used if you have tired or achy hands. The green ferrule is beautiful against the light tan wood. It's like cotton on your skin. Definitely soft, even on over-exfoliated and sensitized skin. There is a smell that emanates when wet, but decreases when dry. It applied bronzer more densely than squirrel, but only slightly. I found that these doesn't highlight the radiant particles of baked bronzer, as much as squirrel, but very slightly. It would only require another pass with the FO brush to achieve the buffing effect that gray squirrel has.

FO-4 Cheek, Highlight / Chikuhodo FO SeriesMakeup BrushPerfect directional medium cheek brush
I agree with what they say than they have the softness of gray squirrel with the resilience of goat hair. Even so it still applies product instantly blended, but expect a bit of powder disturbance on the powder, but not as much as when you use pure undyed goat hair. It's like a cotton ball on your skin, which is different from the silkiness of grey squirrel, but still very soft. They have more smell than goat and squirrel brushes that emanates when wet, but not as noticeable when dry. They are shorted than I expected, but don't find it bothersome for face brushes since the bristle lengths make up for it.

KENT2628 Ladies Hair Brush SoftHair BrushesGreat for men with medium length hair
Definitely a nice addition to hair care. I use it the morning after waking up to distribute the oil from my scalp. Just after two days of using it I've notice smoother hair, with less frizz when blow drying even without hair cream and not conditioning in the shower. Just make sure to detangle before hand, and section hair so the the different layers of the bristles can glide on the intended portion of your scalp and hair.
