TATTOO TRIBAL Vol.65 [Cover & Interview Article] Kyo (DIR EN GREY) (Fujimi Mook)Fujimi ShuppanA must for Kyo and tattoo enthusiasts
I treasure this issue more than my Volume 54 of Tattoo Tribal, perhaps because he's donning the same piercings he wore during DEG'S Never Free From The Awakening Tour which I was lucky enough to attend. I also love the makeup very reminiscent of his Ghoul Tour makeup in 2013. He's able to make each photoshoot fresh and not feel repetitive though this is his third featuring in a tattoo magazine, and there is even a small section dedicated to his own art like the cover for sukekiyo's EP - the daemon's cutlery. Aside from Kyo's feature, there are many beautiful full body tattoos in the Japanese traditional art style.

4th Mini Album Part 2 [Import Disc]BTS (Bangtan Boys)Every BTS album is worth it!
I was lucky enough to receive a peach and a blue copy for my sister and I and I must say I love how there are different versions for each colour - though subtle I can say this is but one example of the attention to detail BTS has over other groups. At first I was bummed there was no Cypher Pt 3 but Crow-Tit / Silver Spoon more than makes up for it! Bangtan stays true to their lyrics pertaining to youth and the struggles that come with it in Run and Never Mind. Butterfly is my personal favorite; able to make me cry every time I listen to it. I can't help but to relate the lyrics to Dir En Grey's The Final because the sense of fleeting in both songs. I was able to get J-Hope's and Jimin's photo cards out of the eight available.

Immortalis [Limited Edition]sukekiyosukekiyo IMMORTALIS Limited Edition
This album is pure beauty! IMMORTALIS is the sublime treasure of my music collection. My personal favorites are Elisabeth Addict, Hemimetabolism, and Kugui; however, each sing emits a unique sound and conjures different emotions. And the remix of Hidden One is sheer genius! I'm still so ecstatic to own this lovely album from the immensely talented Kyo!

Cure 2014 October Issue Vol.133 [Cover] DIV [Back Cover] Mahiro Kurosaki (Kiryu) x yo-ka x Subaru x Jui x MitsuAsia HouseCure 2014 October Issue Volume 133
I absolutely adore this issue! I enjoyed the English translated interview with DIV and getting insight on their Point of View single. And the back cover is beautiful~Tritt fur Tritt did an amazing job at doing Subaru's, yo-ka's, Mitsu's, Jui's, and Mahiro's hair and makeup. Another highlight was the feature of JURYBLACK's 2014 fall COLLECTION CLASSIC NOIZE featuring two of my favorite artists - Mejibray's Tsuzuku and Kiryu's Takemasa! As usual the live stage reports featured amazing photos of many bands, such as DIAURA and Xenon. There were so many fantastic photoshoots of dozens of visual-kei artists! I recommend this issue in particular for any vk fan because of the wide spectrum of bands covered!

Stuppy Vol.1 [Cover & Top Feature] RUKI (the GazettE)Tatsumi PublishingStuppy 2014 June Vol.1 Magazine
This is definitely one of my favorite magazines yet! From the fabulous Ruki poster to Kisaki's band timeline mentioning La:Sadie's to the hilarious and cute artists' drawings I was overjoyed! Honestly this magazine surprised me with the extent of bands covered. I'm so happy to finally own this magazine as I've been wanting it for awhile, but I must say it was worth the wait!

Pen 2014 7/15 Issue [Feature] Godzilla w/ reversible posterHankyu CommunicationsPen 2014 7/15 Godzilla Issue
I'll admit I bought this magazine for my Godzilla-obsessed little brother but even I find it a bit cool! This magazine shows photos of the making of old Godzilla films and shots from the recent movie and even has a list of all the Godzilla movies ever made. The best part of this magazine, however, is the large, double-sided poster featuring the newest look of this monstrous lizard from the US 2014 box office hit and nostalgic look from Toho's 1954 classic. Overall this magazine is a successful homage to the long reign of the King of Monsters.

GANGSTA [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]SadieSadie GANGSTA Limited Edition
This is the first album I've bought from Sadie though I've been a fan for awhile now and love their older releases, but I must say I'm always amazed at how overcome I am with nostalgia listening to every new song they create. My personal favorites were Message From Here and The Never but I most enjoyed the upbeat songs Welcome To The Underground and Howling. Another gem was Tokyo Gypsy which is an easy listen compared to some of the heavier songs on this album. And while I have my bias since Sadie is one of my favorite bands I'll admit I wasn't a big fan of Bleach until I heard it in the midst of all these songs And I can't get over how beautiful the ending is! Overall I'm so happy I purchased this album~it is clear that all the members are talented artists, and I was especially overjoyed with the prominence of the bass!

H.E.R [Special Edition] [CD+DVD/Import Disc]BLOCK BBlock B H.E.R Special Edition
Out of all my orders I have to say this one I was most excited for and I wasn't disappointed! The photobooklet was filled with adorable photos of all the members so I saw details I never noticed before. And the posters are perfect! Aside from listening to their catchy new single I can't wait to watch the DVD included too. Every Block B fan should buy this adorably packaged mini album!

SHOXX 2014 October Issue w/ a photo (R shitei)OngakusenkashaSHOXX 2014 October Issue
So I originally bought this magazine because R-Shitei made the cover and they are my most beloved visual kei band, but this particular issue came with a lot of bonuses - a photo and unreleased track of R-Shitei! And this doesn't even include the beautiful poster of the entire band. Also, there is a lot of coverage on some smaller, indie vk bands I hadn't heard of previously so I'll have to check them out. And I always enjoy the music recommendations they give for pre-released items and future albums to come! Overall this magazine met my expectations providing high quality pictures from live events and photoshoots, extensive interviews with band members, and well-taken care of packaging.

Cure 2014 March Issue Vol.126 [Cover] ROYZ [Back Cover] R Shite & DIAURA w/ StickerAsia HouseCure R-Shitei VS DIAURA Magazine
First of all I have to say I love the sparkly cover <3 And this particular issues covers Royz, R-Shitei and DIAURA extensively so I was stoked that it came with stickers for each band! The translated interviews definitely made up for the absence of a poster. Overall I treasure this magazine and all the vk artists in it!

CD&DL Data 2014 February Issue w/ DIR EN GREY / NMB48 reversible posterKadokawa Group PublishingCD&DL Dir En Grey Magazine
I love this magazine! The pictures are pristine and there are many reviews and information on up and coming jpop and rock artists. And the posters are perfect! Admittedly I bought this magazine for the Dir En Grey poster and I don't regret it; both sides are astonishing photos of this spectacular band. Another plus is I discovered many new artists I hadn't previously heard of so I'm thankful for that.

So this is the first purchase I made from cdjapan and I don't regret it whatsoever. The magazine came with a beautiful, high quality poster of two of my fave vk bands and all the pics were very clear. I was actually surprised by how large the magazine was so I'm happy about all the bands featured!
