BLUE BLOODXX Japan best album
X Japan. What a band! Blue Blood. What an album! This is the kind of masterpiece that makes you known by a larger public. That's what happen in my case. It's when i listened for the first time songs like "X" or "Weekend" that i trully understood the huge potential of this band. The raw production of this album gives this incredible powerful aspect. Yoshiki's astounding drum rolls with crushing double pedals makes your heart beats fast. Pata's and Hide's solo combined with Taiji's groovy bass lines demonstrates that you don't need to be a classical musician to elaborates such beautiful and eternal pieces (Ex: Weekend and Rose of Pain). Toshi's touching vocals concludes this incredible casting of magnific musicians. X Japan, thank you again for this album. The band does not exist anymore but your music will exist forever.

R.U.O.K?!Nanase AikawaWhat an artist!
Maybe i'm not objective with this review. Maybe because Nanase is really an amazing and polyvalent artist. Maybe because some of the best people works on it. Maybe... mmm, no maybe. It's really a superb piece of work. Nanase hired this time for this disc the best Japanese rock people possible: Shinya (drummer of Luna Sea), Pata (Guitarist of X Japan), Shin Murohime (Guitarist of The Mad Capsule Markets) and others. And if it wasn't enough there is Marty Friedman, Ex MEGADETH. What a cast! All of this mixed with Nanase's incredible voice, it gives us a piece that every pop-rock lover must own quickly. Best song is the last one, "Everybody Goes". Let's hope that Nanase will continue to make such different albums every time. It's the trademark of great artist to surprise us and Nanase is one of them.

ABSOLUTIONMuseMuse's best effort.
Since they start the band, members of Muse have taken their music to the top. One album after another, they managed to create memorable tunes. Now with their 3rd album, they gave birth to a true masterpiece, in every aspects. First of all, the production of this piece is incredible. Rich Costey did a huge job, callibrating distorted bass lines with flying drum parts. Guitars and piano handled and juxtaposed beautifully by the leader of the band. Second point, the quality of compositions. They are jaw-dropping pieces of music. Such hits as "Time is running out" and "Stockholm Syndrome" can't let you insensitive. It hits you right through your heart. Last point but not the less important, lyrics. 10 out of 10 for the finess and meanings behind every words. A true work of intelligence. Two thumbs up for Muse.

IMAGELUNA SEALuna Sea rules!
It was in 2001-2002. One of my friend lend me a cd. It was the 1st album of Luna Sea. I went crazy... because of the quality of the music. Then after a few days, i bought Image, 2nd album, just by curiosity. It was a revelation. I did not have those kind of feelings since a long time. Guitars chords, drum parts, bass feelings and vocals from this album were like magic. For the next 6 months i almost only listened to this album. Only few times in a life we feel that way when listening to music. This feeling came from this album, Luna sea's Image, a true lesson in harmony between perfect musicallity and neverending beauty. I love this album and this band. Forever.

Rust In PeaceMEGADETHThe Best Megadeth Album
1990. Megadeth release upon the world a masterpiece of brutality, technicallity, inventivity and melody. The name: Rust in Peace. This edition is really interesting because, even if i don't usually like remaster of cult album, this time Dave Mustaine, who personally supervised it, did a great job, enhancing the drums beat, the shreadding guitars and adding some great bonus with it. My creation, an outtake from the period, is the best bonus one fan can ever dream of. The other tracks are 3 demos, really interesting to hear, pointing the fact that even when recording demos for albums to come, Megadeth is still precise as a clock. This album demonstrates the never ending inventivity of Mr Mustaine. This is a must have for every true metal lover.
