MAKYABERINYasuyuki OkamuraOne of the greatest shows ever!
Okamura is in his 50s and yet he is giving out his best performances, a true inspiration and a complete master of his craft, he has nothing but my utmost respect and appreciation. In my mind, he has risen to the status of "The Greatest Performer In Japan" with this release. So much emotion and style, and yet the crowd is having such a great time, and I'm watching this at home with the same feeling inside of me. Every song on the setlist has been done to perfection thanks to a wonderful band and amazing dancers; every instrument used as it should be, and every movement striking the audience's hearts. This is what a live concert should be, and I personally hope that more people experience what it really means to be moved by an amazing performance and buy this DVD. It's worth the money, and definitely your time. This DVD comes with my highest recommendation and I can't stress it enough, you will be impressed, I promise.

KofukuYasuyuki OkamuraLike a postcard from an old friend
Okamura's career is quite established and his work has managed to remain great after all of this time. This album was a fine purchase as it's perfect for longtime fans, it's like a breath of fresh air to finally hear an album of new material after such a long time and his productions never cease to amaze. It's great to see he's still making music and I recommend this to fans of Japanese pop music, and if you like this then I highly recommend trying his older albums out as well, you will not be disappointed with them.

MisaoYasuyuki OkamuraAnother great album
I really like how this album manages to both experiement a bit with different genres, and yet also bring back a bit of his late 80s sound as well, it's a real treat for longtime fans and newcomers alike. Okamura has not lost his touch and has instead endured with a legacy of hard work and amazing results to show for it, the album shows no stopping in spite of his age, and that's both an inspiration and something to look forward to all the same. Great work!

AYAKAAyaka MorikawaNot just for AKB fans
As an AKB fan I never noticed Ayaka Morikawa when she was in the group, and really only just started learning about her when she went into gravure. I don't review with a bias towards ex-idols of groups I like, and thankfully I don't have to even clarify that because this DVD was better than exptected. Ayaka's type of beauty definitely reminds me more of what an AKB girl embodies, very reminiscent of girls I meet in real life rather than your typical gravure queen standard (and I mean that in a good way), she's pretty but also carries an impressive sexy and mature side as well. The beach and club scenes really showcase everything great about her, the whole experience is fun and entertaining. What Ayaka lacks is maybe more of a commanding personality to her performances, she's a bit laid back and loose in her approach, and that's not so bad but she's not quite a professional gravure idol in terms of her charisma and presence. Regardless of those qualities, that didn't get in the way of how lovely she was throughout this DVD. Recommended.

Live EtiquetteYasuyuki OkamuraGreat Live Performance!
Okamura lights up the stage with an exciting stage show complete with talented musicians, awesome moves by Okamura himself, and a lively crowd from beginning to end. The song selection is also well done, and sequenced together perfectly. Fans will also appreciate the small photobook that comes with the DVD, along with the fact that it is All Region, making it playable on any DVD player. A must-own for fans of Okamura!

YellowYasuyuki OkamuraAn Underrated Gem!
A fine debut that has a great selection of songs, with the opening pop numbers Out Of Blue and Young Oh! Oh! having great hooks, to even a couple of worthy ballads, with White Courage being one of Okamura's best in particular. Well worth it for fans of Japanese pop music, especially when the Blu-spec format captures the sound quality so well!

DateYasuyuki OkamuraA Pop Knockout!
Memorable from beginning to end, every track has a lasting effect to it, with (19)Nineteen and Date being two of the best examples on the album. The closing number is a real treat if you love a great jam session. Fantastic Japanese Pop that comes highly recommended, and the Blu-spec format gives this album a nice treatment as well.

YasuyukiYasuyuki OkamuraVery Creative!
A great album that finds a wide variety of sounds to accomplish its goal, this album shows Okamura trying to make a statement. There's the great pop sounds of Daisuki and Vegetable, to the jam sessions of Punch Up and Co'mon, and even the mesmerizing Bible thrown in for good measure. A lot of fun to listen to if you like your Pop music more on the creative side, and the Blu-spec does this album a great service.

KateikyoshiYasuyuki OkamuraOkamura's Masterpiece!
Easily Okamura's finest work, every single track on this album is simply brilliant, and some of the songs rank among the best I've ever heard. Doonacchatten Dayo is a real stunner that sounds unlike anything I've ever heard in Japanese Pop music, Kahlua Milk is a fantastic ballad, Anoko Boku Ga Longshoot Kimetara Donna Kao Suru Darou is a driving number with lots of energy, and Biscuit Love is vintage Okamura with the way the song carries itself. This album comes with my highest recommendation, and the Blu-spec quality is a fine tribute to such a great album!

Kinjirareta IkigaiYasuyuki OkamuraAmazing Production!
The sound on this album is more sophisticated and layered than anything Okamura has made up to this point in his career, and the songs sound like many different songs within the same track sometimes. It's amazing to behold how talented Okamura is when listening to the album in its entirety. I'd say Seinen Juuyon Sai, Chlorophyll Love, Tarzan Boy, and Parachute Girl are the highlights on this album. Well worth it if you're a fan, or if you can appreciate great production quality in your music. The Blu-spec does wonders for this album and its many layers of sounds.

Me-imi -Premium Edition-Yasuyuki OkamuraOkamura Still Keeps Going Strong!
Okamura continues his evolution and adjusts his sound for the new millennium with a strong conviction. There's a serious quality to this album, with driving melodies and emotional performances from Okamura. Me-imi is a labor of love, and for fans this album delivers the goods more than anyone would expect. Newcomers would even enjoy the quality of this music if they like Japanese Pop, especially if they like their music with a dose of funk.

Etiquette (Pink jacket)Yasuyuki OkamuraGreat Covers Of Classic Okamura Songs!
Okamura's production work has increased since his last album, and he's definitely willing to jam out more than ever. (19)Nineteen, Super Girl, and Co'mon with its intense jam session at the mid point are well worth their revisits. Okamura's performance is still great after all these years, and fans will be pleased to see that he's recreated his classic songs with a modern uniqueness that makes it a pleasure to hear them again.

Etiquette (Purple jacket)Yasuyuki OkamuraOkamura Still Has It!
A great edition of Etiquette that features a fantastic electronic opening, and a long jam session with the last few tracks that seems to flow together perfectly. Every song works well with one another and sounds great on the album. Definitely recommended.

My BoySaori@destinyGreat Single From A Wonderful Artist
I've been a fan of Saori's work for sometime, I own all of her albums and have enjoyed them a great deal (with World Wild 2010 and Japanese Chaos being my favorites). This single is a nice pickup for fans because it features not only her first ever single, but an excellent B-Side with Our telepathy and a remix too.

KOR=GIRLKOR=GIRL 1 [Cardboard Sleeve (mini LP)]KOR=GIRLA Great Addition For Fans Of D-TopiaKOR=Girl is a unique release from D-Topia in that it embodies different sounds from other releases I've heard. MEG CLIPS!!MEGA Great Purchase For Meg Fans
For anyone who wants most of MEG's Universal Promotional Videos in one place, this DVD is the way to go. All of the videos were very fun to watch, and there's even a "behind the scenes" clip for Magic which is nice too. Also included is a performance of Star from one of MEG's live shows, and the Freak remix video as well. The only video to my knowledge that has been left out was Skin, which can be found on the Beautiful Limited Edition release, but otherwise everything else is here, and it's an ALL Region DVD, so anyone can view it (MEG's live DVDs, along with the Limited Edition DVDs for Step and Beautiful, are also ALL Region too). Very enjoyable and worth it for MEG fans!

HeartMEGGreat Song, Great Remixes
Heart has always been one of my biggest favorites from MEG, and a nice compliment to this release are the added mix of Natalie, which is very catchy, and the Party Mix of Heart which was used for her live shows. Overall, this is a great purchase for fans, especially since the two remixes can only be found on this single release.

Passport / ParisMEGGreat Single Release
Passport / Paris is great for fans that already own all of MEG's Universal releases up this point, as both songs are among her best, and I liked the remix of Paris as well. Worth it for fans!
