ViaMONORALjourney via monoral
This album is a good blend of melody and emotion, something that Monoral never lacks of. Their songs cover from mid-fast tempo to ballads but never too much. It's full of surprises, just whenever I think it will build up into something, the song suddenly turns into something else. This is an ear and mind journey via Monoral. I particularly love Anis' vocal elaborations in Everest and Casbah, and Ali's bass playing in Casbah, but my most favorite songs are the emotional Costa Rica and Sometimes.

IN STEREOmonorala perfect debut
i think this mini album deserves more hearing. it has great mid-temp to slow American style songs, all in perfect English, despite the fact that they're Japanese band. They have consistent quality in each song and the simple yet delicate melody could bring you to musical ecstasy. From all the five songs, I think Wash is the highlight.

KissL'Arc-en-Cielnice new sound, perfect cover design
the music is above expectation, even though there are several surprising off side on pretty girl's intro. but musically, i love how they explore new kind of sounds, but still taking care not to scrap away the laruku sound. the booklet and packaging is precious. it's perfectly designed. it fits the mood too.
