FLOW The Video [w/ Bonus Disc, Limited Edition]FLOWNice
For anyone who's been wanting a complete collection of their PVs, this is for you. Not to mention the new concert on it. And what a fine concert it was. This is one of the few pieces of my collection that I won't ever been loaning out. A wonderful, wonderful addition to my DVD collection.

ArigatoFLOWArigatou NOT UNTITLED!
It kills me that this CD is still listed as UNTITLED by CD Japan. Ugh. I'll be honest, I'm not much for ballads. One or two has captured my heart, but Arigatou is not one of them. Still, it's a very pretty song, and if you don't have my innate hatred of this particular type of song, you'll probably enjoy it. It's well written, and well played. Tabibito is on the whole, a very good song. There's just something about it that makes you want to hum along. I'd recommend getting this CD for Tabibito, even for those who aren't fans of the ballad. That song is enough to bring my rating to a solid four, all by itself.

Isle [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]FLOWVery, very good.
There's so many good songs on this album that it's hard to pick two or three to review. Taiyou no Uta is a definite don't-miss. It's beauty set to music, and an amazing acoustic piece. Survive ~mission no.149~ and Smells like thirty spirit are also great songs. Really, ignoring the singles tracks, there isn't a song on here that I don't like, and the singles tracks are pretty good as well. I'd recommend this album to anyone who loves FLOW's music, or any music similar to it. And for those that are lucky enough to get their hands on the DVD that comes with the limited edition, the JUST DO IT! Video is one of the weirdest, and funniest, things I've seen in a very long time.

Snow Flake - Kioku no Koshitsu - / PulseFLOWFinally!
It's been awhile since FLOW put out a single where I could sing praises of my own to every song. This is certainly one of their best singles to date. Snowflake has a weird edge to it, one you can't quite figure out. The good news is that it means you can listen to the song again and again and never get tired of it. The bad news... wait. There isn't any. Pulse and Phantom both have a bit of an edge to them, if I'm remembering correctly, and all three songs work together well as a cohesive whole.

#5 [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]FLOWThis just... wow.
This is another of those albums where choosing a few songs to review is next to impossible. For anyone who misses the old FLOW sound, back when they had a habit of screaming the lyrics, you'll find a good bit of that hard sound in several songs on this Album. Akai Siren and Music are two tracks you'll definitely want to check out if you like the harder stuff. Butterfly is a lovely track, very pretty in the same way that Taiyou no Uta (from the ISLE album) is, but the sound and tempo are completely different. All in all, currently my favorite FLOW album, you won't be disappointed in this one.

Dream ExpressFLOWGoing drinking?
Dream Express has to be one of the most entertaining 'drinking songs' I've heard in a long time. Definitely one of those I play when I'm chilling with friends. Saiken isn't half bad either, but it operates on a different wavelength. Attack 26 is... amusing. Not for everybody, but if you like it, you'll love it.

Flow Live Tour 2007-2008 "I'll" Final at Nippon BudokanFLOWAwesome Concert
Another great concert release for the guys. We see a number of old favorites, like Garden and Umi he yukou, as well as some of their great new songs like Survive -mission no.149- and I will. My favorite is still Taiyou no Uta, though close second Tabibito also makes an appearance here. The video quality is amazing, even on my dinky little TV it looks hidef. Though the audio seems a little on the quiet side, the lovely music makes it through. A great buy for anyone looking to see what FLOW is all about, as the music runs the gamut of all they've released so far, from way back in the beginning with a "mixture melody" from #0 and the Like a Rolling Snow single to the most recent with World End and Word of the Voice. Two thumbs way up!

ColorsFLOWLovely release!
Another great CD from the guys in FLOW! The title song, Colors, is my little sister's favorite song, and for good reason. It's one of those songs you find yourself singing at the top of your lungs in the shower. Astroslider is the second track, and is also very good. But my favorite is Love Dub. This song is my favorite love song so far. It's set at Christmas time, and it's great to close your eyes and just sway to the beat. Nice and slow, and wonderfully written as far as lyrics go. I'll marry the man who sings this one to me.

Soul TrainOriginal VideoInteresting but confusing.
Granted I don't speak Japanese very well but... Odd. Very odd. The movie itself was entertaining, and anyone who actually understands more than 20% of what they're saying will probably really enjoy it. Boy meets girl. Girl is dating boy's coworker. Daydream sequences ensue. There's also a bit of violence and blood, so not recommended for the little ones.

FLOW #0FLOWAmazing how things change
It's strange to listen to one of the newer singles, and then pull this one out. Their sound has changed so much since this CD came out. FLOW #0- The vocals have a different balance than the newer music, the English is hard to understand, and the sound is much more... hardcore? Planet Walk- starts off sounding like a garage band. The song itself makes you want to get up and run. Very fast paced. Make Yourself- very catchy with a great beat. The background vocals are great. It shows the wonderful give and take that will be present from here on out in the vocals. Go Places- Same words as the version on Splash, but that's where it ends. A lot more distortion on the sound in this one. (this may have been before Keigo learned to sing as well. unfortunate.) 7th Heaven- A really quick song. Very driving beat and guitar.

FLOW Countdown Live 2006-2007 "Kizuna Factory - Differ Toshiake"FLOWVery very happy.
As the title suggests, I'm very, very happy with this purchase. I'm terrified by Kohshi's outfit, and that's honestly the only downside to the whole DVD. (Luckily, he loses the jacket fairly quickly.) A wonderful array of songs showcases the talent these guys have in spades. And present as well is the showmanship that I've come to expect from this band. They love to involve their fans and get everyone jumping- at the same time. Funny faces and antics on stage abound, enjoy the catwalk in the middle of the audience. Buy this DVD and never regret it.

Around the world / KandataFLOWWonderful music
I've come to the decision that every song on this CD is worth listening to, and more than once at that. Around the World- very happy and upbeat. Funny enough, the PV for this song was filmed/released right after they returned from their first visit to the US. Kandata- This song shows the 'upbeat melancholy' sound featured in Days. You don't know whether it's happy or sad, but you'll find yourself singing it, either way. Shakys- Another wonderful song shoved to the B-track position. It bounces along, rounding out the trio. Proof that a song doesn't have to be a single to rock.

Fuyu no Amaoto / Night Parade by Flow & Home Made Kazoku [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]FLOWCliched but the best yet.
'The best yet' is a title you could stick at the end of every new FLOW single's title and still not be lying. A wonderful single with: Fuyu no Amaoto- Latin inspired sound, a bit melancholy; a story about lost love Night Parade- an upbeat party type song and their first collaboration, featuring Home Made Kazoku. It's hard to sit still with this one on. Image- strangely enough, probably my favorite song on the single. A happy beat and catchy lyrics help round out this single in style.

SPLASH!! [Regular Edition]FLOWExcellent as expected.
As expected from FLOW, another excellent showing. Umi e Yukou is probably my favorite from this album, but all of the songs are enjoyable. Another great feature of FLOW's music is the endless replay quality. It makes great background music for anything you're doing.

Garden - Summer Edit -FLOWOne of my favorites
Garden has always been one of my favorite FLOW songs, so this single was a happy purchase for me. Garden -Summer Edit- is one of those songs that's great for studying, exercise, or just bebopping around the house. One of the best 'washing the dishes' songs ever in my opinion. Since- I'm not sure what they're singing about in this one, but the song is really mellow, and it seems to be a great song to relax to. Very light and easy listening.

THE PLAY OFF - GAME 1FLOWSomehow I knew it...
Excellent DVD. The 'making of' featurettes are avaialable no where else, to my knowledge, and the live concert brings back good memories. As always, an excellent showing from FLOW.

AnswerFLOWWow
This is an interesting new sound for FLOW, and difficult to describe. All three songs on this single are amazing and seem to call to mind the old FLOW sound while hinting at something hidden in the future as well. Anyone who enjoys their music will like this one. It's got enough bounce and just enough funk to it to get you up on your feet and moving around. Good music for cleaning the house or rolling out of bed. You might even find yourself singing along...
