Tour 2008 L'7 -Trans Asia Via Paris-L'Arc-en-Ciela truly memorably journey
i can't believe nobody has reviewed this yet! this concert has just entered one of L'Arc best concert list. there're some rare songs made it on the setlist. their performance was top notch. the stage setting was mind blowing. some of my fav part were Sell My Soul, My Heart Draws A Dream, Hoshizora, Ophelia and Forbidden Lover. During Forbidden Lover, i felt like to scream the pain just like the way hyde sang it. In My Heart Draws A Dream, all the audience sang the chorus together in a unison and passion. it's just gave me a goosebumps. and this concert felt so personal and different from the other concerts because it is Larc personal tribute to their beloved friend, Kondo-san (aka Comet-san). he'll be missed. to Larc fans, i can't describe more how much this DVD is meaningful to me. so many memorable moments on the stage. yeah i know perhaps for some fans, this is a bit too much because we already had 2 other L'7 releases before. so you might give this a pass. but it's really stood apart from other L'7 concerts. buy it and you'll know what i mean.

1999 GRAND CROSS CONCLUSIONL'Arc-en-CielWish I was there!
Hands down to laruku greatest concert. This makes me regret for not being their fan earlier before, otherwise i would be one of the witnesses of this great concert. The setting was spectacular and the atmosphere was really high. Laruku energetic performance charged the audience with massive cheer and roar, to the point it'd just give you goosebumps! Laruku ruled the extensive outdoor arena! For laruku beginners or even for japanese music lovers in general, this DVD is highly recommended. it represents what the Japanese concerts could offer at their best.

Asialive 2005L'Arc-en-CielFairly good
to be honest, this is one of my least watched laruku concert DVD. perhaps this is because i bought laruku other great concerts (ie L'Anniversary, AYR 2007 and 1999 Grand Cross) beforehand and overshadow by them. the live overall is good and fun, but not deliver as powerful enough as the other concerts i've mentioned above. but P'UNK-EN-CIEL performance here is so grand. and i like the documentary a lot. interesting insights into laruku reaction of their first Asian tour. too bad, i want to give it 4/5 or 5/5 due to its good documentary, but because Disc 1 is fairly satisfactory for me so i rate 3/5 overall - not that great but surely not that worst. nonetheless i still recommend this dvd to loyal larc fans who haven't bought it for their collection.

I Gotta Kick Start Now [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]VAMPSenjoyable
At first, I thought Trouble PV would be included in the DVD also, but I was really disappointed it wasn't :/ that's a real letdown there. on a bright side, the DVD include another behind the scene footage - the making of IGKSN PV. so at least, this cheer me up. overall IGKSN not really a mind blowing single, but still good arangement, enjoyable and will rock you out. VAMPS' cover of Trouble pwned the original (duh!) love it :) [latest info: Trouble PV would be included in VAMPS first album limited edition]

Chronicle 4L'Arc-en-CielFor my collection!
I miss Larc so much ;_; and thank goodness for their recent releases, I could hold on a bit longer until they come back from live hiatus. I like Chronicle 4 better than Chronicle 3 because it includes the making of PVs at the extra section. And it gives me pure satisfaction to watch those PVs in HQ, especially SHINE. TV rips don't do justice ;p

Live in ParisL'Arc-en-CielCan't Wait
I usually don't write reviews before I get the item, but I'm just so thrilled with this release ^^ From fans report in all L'7 locations, the concerts were a total blast of the nights [I fully agree because I was there at L'7 HK!!]. So, I'm truly believe this DVD is gona be awesome! Hope they'll also include a bit of lives from other cities, such as Forbidden Lover/Jojoushi in L'7 HK and Hoshizora/My Heart Draws A Dream in L'7 Tokyo. I've pre-ordered the first press and now counting for the day of its release...

Documentary Films -Trans Asia via Paris-L'Arc-en-CielTRULY SPECIAL AND ONE OF THEIR BEST
I fall in love with laruku over and over again. This DVD is very special. For me, this is the most intimate behind-the-stage documentary larc ever produced to date (more intimate than AYR documentary). The 2hr 45min will bring you into laruku backstage world that is rarely seen before. It also explores their feelings, personal views and experiences not only on the tour, but on their career as well. Many memorable and funny moments are recorded and shared with fans such as ken's accident during Paris concert, tetsu's shopping time, ken bath scene etc (I won't spill much, you have to buy it to know it *wink wink*) As a fan, I'm truly touched and blessed with this special documentary films. Simply one of their best DVD to date and for laruku fans out there, this DVD is a MUST. Trust me, you won't regret it.

Tour 2007-2008 Theater of KissL'Arc-en-CielGreat but could be greater
The setlist is to die for especially And She Said proves to be really a blasting performance. But at some part of the DVD, I'm just a bit dissapointed especially at the stage film part which I think is not necessary (I don't even watch that part) and could be replace with something better. I also wish the backstage part could be extended more. Despite some letdown there, the performances are so enjoyable and memorable, and the stage effects are damn cool (watch Umibe!). Perhaps for some others, the atmosphere is not as high as Are You Ready DVD, but the DVD is still worth it thanks to the high quality lives and setlist. For laruku lovers, get it NOW!
