Nil [Regular Edition]GazetteGood stuff
For a band that doesn't seem to be appreciated as much by American visual kei fans, this album is nearly perfect. The songs are great with some really nice engineering, nice vocals, and a really smooth vibe to the whole thing. All the solos are great, and the album just flows exactly the way a good rock album should. Gazette is probably the most underrated band in visual kei, at least here in the US.

DisorderGazettePretty good
This is a pretty good album from one of my favourite bands, but it honestly isn't as good as NIL. If you're new to this band, then you should definitely listen to them, but I would recommend listening to NIL first. You'll appreciate them that much more if you do.

Lamentful MissMoi dix MoisBack to normal
The only bad thing is that it isn't an actual album. I was very happy to see the direction Mana took on all three songs, and I hope more like it will come. No more synth drums! Yay!

TOUR04 THE CODE OF VULGAR[ism] [Regular Edition]Dir en greyEhhh...
As much as I like this band, I keep finding myself slightly unimpressed by their live performances. I love the way they look on stage, and they have great visuals, but Kyo just doesn't seem to have the same power. It's not a bad DVD, but nowhere near as good as the Vulgar album.

VULGARDir en greyEpic...
This is in every way my favourite Dir en Grey album. The songs have an epic feel to them from the soaring "Audience Killer Loop" to the incredible "Obscure" (which also has the weirdest music video I've ever seen...I love it.) My American friends like Withering To Death better, but in my opinion, the only way this album could have been better is if Embryo had been on it instead of Kisou. BUY IT NOW!!!

Ryojoku no Ame [Limited Edition]Dir en greyGood
I give it a 4 because I REALLY liked the new song, and the bonus poster I got with the limited edition was nice. The live songs, however, were simply unimpressive...but then again, that's not what I bought it for. I'm still glad I got it.
