Sokyu no Fafner Characters Album Soushi - terra [CD+DVD]Soshi Minashiro (Kohei Kiyasu)Not on terra firma
The song is a bit folksy, but is very nice. The DVD contains an interview with Kiyasu, and an AMV that looks like something anyone with Windows Movie Maker could have made. The music video isn't worth it, but the interview was.

TV Animation Yugioh (Yu-Gi-Oh) Duel Monsters GX Theme Song - Tear Drop / Kisetsu NikkiBOWLsome variety is too much to ask for?
My issues with this CD is that both songs sound exactly the same. I cannot tell them apart when I hear them. If this is on purpose, I'm sorry, but it makes me lose respect for them as group. I expect to be able to tell what a song is just by listening to it, and I cannot do it with these two songs.

Yugioh (Yu-Gi-Oh) "Duel Monsters" Original Soundtrack - Ketto!CLOUD, Aki Maedabgm soundtrack
Background music. It would have been better if they could have had the full OP/ED instead of the TV Size ones.

Eve (Prince of Tennis Character CD) [Limited Release]Shinji Ibu (Eiji Moriyama)Yay, Christmas-y songs!
Mini-album. Four songs, a few of them with a Christmas feel about them. It's very cute, and a couple of the tracks have guest artists.

The Best Selection - Welcome Back!Koji WadaStill liking him..
This was a pretty much a compilation album (which should have seemed obvious by the title) of theme songs he's done. There were two new tracks I hadn't heard before, and I was glad to see "Honoo no Overdrive" on an album. It's worth buying if you don't have the singles of any of the songs, and the new song "Pierce" is good, but for two new songs, it's probably not worth it. The songs "Butterfly," "Boku wa Boku Datte," "Kaze," "The Biggest Dreamer," "Seven," and "Target ~Akai Shougeki~" were all on his last album. At least "Starting Over" got a remix, but those songs didn't. I think it would have been worth it if there were different versions/remixes...something, other than the same old songs we've heard since the late '90s

Kirakira Megane's (Prince of Tennis Character CD) [Limited Release]Megane'sA nice soft song...
The song is very relaxed, soft. Would be a good slow dance song. The talk track is humorous, even if you don't understand Japanese.

HirariKoji WadaI was tricked...
...I honestly did not know this was the theme to Digimon Savers when I bought it, but since I like Koji Wada's music so much anyway I thought it would be worth buying. "Hirari" is a nice fast, almost crazy song, while "for the future" is more relaxed, and hopeful. If you've heard anything by him, it's fairly standard fare from him.

The Best Of Seigaku Players (Tennis no ohjisama (The Prince of Tennis) Character CD) IV You Get The Power
Sadaharu Inui (Kenjiro Tsuda)The Best Of Seigaku Players (Tennis no ohjisama (The Prince of Tennis) Character CD) IV You Get The PowerSadaharu Inui (Kenjiro Tsuda)It's a recipe..If you were expecting singing, you're going to be a bit disappointed. It's Inui reciting juice recipes set to music, which really isn't that interesting to listen to. I did like the remix version though, which is still the same thing, but at least it's a bit more upbeat. Thankfully, his later works are a lot better than this single. At least they've gotten some jokes out of this song though.

The Best Of Seigaku Players (Tennis no ohjisama (The Prince of Tennis) Character CD) VI Chain Reaction
Kaoru Kaido (Kouhei Kiyasu)The Best Of Seigaku Players (Tennis no ohjisama (The Prince of Tennis) Character CD) VI Chain ReactionKaoru Kaido (Kouhei Kiyasu)Oh, Kaido..I'm not really impressed with Kaido's song. I like the character, but I don't think his song does him much justice. One, the speed at which it's sung is just a bit too fast. It's hard to catch all the words. Two, I don't think the hard rock sound that they were going for fits with him all that much. And the remix makes these points even worse. It is a good song, I just think it could have been done better.

THE BEST OF RIVAL PLAYERS Tennis no ohjisama(The Prince of Tennis) Character CD II Can See The Light
Shinji Ibu (Eiji Moriyama)THE BEST OF RIVAL PLAYERS Tennis no ohjisama(The Prince of Tennis) Character CD II Can See The LightShinji Ibu (Eiji Moriyama)Pretty Song...It really is a pretty song, filled with hopeful lyrics. (I translated this song a while back) And Moriyama's voice is versatile enough to pull off the volume changes. the song starts off very soft, and then gets louder. It's a good song to relax with, and the remix isn't too bad either.

THE BEST OF RIVAL PLAYERS Tennis no ohjisama(The Prince of Tennis) Character CD XVII Dream to Remember
Renji Yanagi (Eiji Takemoto)THE BEST OF RIVAL PLAYERS Tennis no ohjisama(The Prince of Tennis) Character CD XVII Dream to RememberRenji Yanagi (Eiji Takemoto)Yay, dance music!Renji's song has quite a beat to it. It almost reminds me of disco. I was rather surprised at the amount of English in it, but it's not overwhelming, and it's a fairly simple song, very easy to remember. I sometimes find myself singing it to myself. The remix version is just as good as the original, but it's slower in pace, but still has the disco/techno type beat that all his songs seem to have.

Sugar Sugar Rune Character CD: Rockin' RobinRockin' Robin (Kentaro Tsuda)Not what I expected
I was hoping more for an actual album of songs. Instead, we get three drama tracks, two songs, and the kareoke version of the two songs for a total of 7 tracks. The two songs: "Ore wa Super Star" is amusing, and certainly fits the characters personality (from what I've seen of the show). "Don't Cry" is a cute little lounge song/ballad that fits Tsuda's voice perfectly. He was a bit quiet in it, but it's a song you have to listen to. I can't comment on the drama tracks, I didn't understand them. "Ore wa Super Star" comes between the first two drama tracks, and I think there is a story there. I'm not sure about the last part of them. Overall, it's a cute album, but it wasn't really what I expected.

Prince of Tennis Character Album: E=mc2
Sadaharu Inui (Kenjiro Tsuda)Prince of Tennis Character Album: E=mc2Sadaharu Inui (Kenjiro Tsuda)Pleasant, but a little disappointingI was rather disappointed, I was hoping to hear more song tracks than there were. The mini-drama "Juice" was a nice touch though. The three songs that are on the album are touching, and show off Mr. Tsuda's singing voice very well. I don't really consider some of the tracks "songs," but they do have him speaking over the music of the tracks, such as in "Running Boy," "Pi," and "Saraba". And "Running Boy" would have been more appropriate for a Kaido album, I think as he's always the one we see running. I'm not sure what the thinking here was.
