True Blue: The Best of Sonic The HedgehogSonic The HedgehogSonic music at it's best!
You pretty much get what you pay for with this collection, that being A near perfect look back at the music history of Sonic The Hedgehog. That is, the vocal songs, anyway. You get songs from all the way back from SONIC CD (SEGA / MEGA CD) all the up to his more recent outings with SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 20006 and SONIC AND THE SECRET RINGS. While some great songs are noticeably absent, you to take into account this is centered on SONIC, so you won't be getting any Shadow or other character songs. But that's fine, since what's here is some of the best including most of Crush 40's contributions to the series. Definitely work pick up for SONIC and videogame music fans alike.

TV Anime Shakugan no Shana II Intro & Outro Theme: Joint [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Mami KawadaAn instant favorite...
The Japanese Anime opening theme songs genre is so overrun by sweet and cheery J-Pop songs that something like this comes as a breath of fresh air with it's rock sound. Upon hearing the TV size version the first time I knew I had to buy this single with the full size song. Mami Kawada (who also performed the original Shana series opening theme) has really stepped up over the past few years as one of the best in Japanese music and this track really shows that off in my opinion. The music video for "Joint" isn't anything special, but it's nothing horrible either. The single also features the series ending theme as well, and while not as memorable as "Joint", it's still worth a listen. Highly recommended.

Sonic The Hedgehog Vocal Trax Several WillsGame MusicAnother great release...
Say what you will about the Sonic games as of late, but one thing that can't be denied is how great the soundtracks have been, from the original score to the vocal tracks. And this release is no exception. It features 4 songs from the game and three bonus tracks not available anywhere else, including two new versions of the main theme of the game, "His World" (one by Zebrahead and one by Crush 40). It may not be the best Vocal CD from a Sonic game (that belongs to LOST AND FOUND for the Shadow The Hedgehog game), but it is definately up there as one of the best.
