The Greatest Filmography 1999-2006 -Red-GacktNice DVD, but...
I've been a fan of Gackt for many years now. I especially love his earlier works and being able to own some of my favorites PVs was really appealing to me. However, I was quite disappointed to realize that the original audio for some of the videos has been replaced with The Sixth Day versions. Take Mizerable, for example. It's a nice compilation, but I would have preferred if the original audio had been left in.

Amedama RockAn Cafe (Antic Cafe)Love it!
It's a really nice album. It sounds very different from their newer releases, but upon listening to it, you can actually see how much the band has evolved in such a short time. That doesn't mean it's a bad album. It's wonderful! I especially love the "live" songs. If you're just getting into the band, I would probably say not to get this as your first album. Not because you'll be disappointed. It's actually because their newer sound is very different. But do give this one a try eventually!

Bons -Kizuna-An Cafe (Antic Cafe)Totally recommended!
One of their best songs, for sure. I also think their sound, as well as Miku's vocals evolved. While I love their older sound enormously, I also think the change is quite positive. Both songs are very different from each other, but they're both wonderful. Plus, the lyrics to BondS~Kizuna~ have a really nice, strong message about friendship. You won't regret buying it!

Smile Ichiban Ii OnnaAn Cafe (Antic Cafe)Great!!
Even though I fell in love with the song from the first time I listened to it, I was having my doubts whether to buy the single or not. Well, I'm glad I did, because not only is the song wonderful. The c/w is also great, catchy, and fun to sing along to. The booklet is probably the cutest thing you'll ever see, with the NYAPPY bunnies. It's a really nice item overall.

Snow Scene [CD+DVD]An Cafe (Antic Cafe)Take 2!
Who ever said second parts were always bad? Well, in this case, it definitely isn't so. The second release from An cafe's 3-month campaign is simply wonderful. Snow Scene makes a perfect End-of-Fall/Start-of-Winter song, albeit kind of a sad one. (It's not a Christmas song!) Bokura no poppopoo is a really funny song. I like to call it Retro An Cafe. It kinda sounds like a sixties surf song, or something. But the bass line is really cool! You get to hear Kanon showing his talents! Plus, this item comes with a free DVD with the live version of the Smile ichiban ii onna PV. I'm really glad I bought it. I definitely think it was money well spent!

Shikisai Moment [w/ DVD, first pressing only limited release]An Cafe (Antic Cafe)NYAPPYful!
I got this for my birthday a few months ago and I just can't get enough of it. The album features lots of catchy songs, like NYAPPY in the world, Escapism, Merry Making, etc. But it also features some deeper songs, like Rinne no tsumi. It's a varied album that doesn't just stick to one particular style, even though each and every one of the tracks is totally An Cafe. The DVD is super funny, even if you don't really understand everything they're saying. Basically it just features them fooling around and being NYAPPY. It also includes 4 PVs. Definitely worth buying!!! A must-have for every An Cafe fan out there!

La Collection "merveilles" - L'edition Limitee [CD+DVD] [Limited Release]MALICE MIZERA truly marvelous collection
La Collection merveilles lives up not only to the album's title, but to the album and the band themselves. It's a collection of three DVDs: cinq parallele, merveilles l'espace and l'image de merveilles; the merveilles CD; and the merveilles booklet, which comes printed in a different, thicker paper, and the dimensions are those of a cd case if looked vertically. All of this comes encased in a beautiful wodden box made to resemble a book, but on the inside it's actually a music box which plays Bois de merveilles. The inside is lined in purple velvet and it also has a purple ribbon to help you take out the cds easily. Overall, it's a worthy investment. Nothing less from what's expected from MALICE MIZER.

MerveillesMALICE MIZERA truly "merveilleuse" album
From the beautifully enchanting waltz bois de merveilles to the psycho-demented S-CONSCIOUS, this album will transport you to the wonderful world of MALICE MIZER. Its variety of rhythms, styles and emotions will make you listen to it over and over again, and it will leave you wondering how it's possible for an album to have such variety and such contrast. Playful and silly, yet angry and desperate. But also mellow and melancholy. The title does do this wonderful work justice. MALICE MIZER's masterpiece for sure, and a must-have not only for every fan of the band, but also for every rock fan in general.

KHAOS/KINEMAKoziA worthy investment
Kozi's first solo effort after the disbandment of MALICE MIZER is a 2-cd single which, on one hand, proves to be 'khaotic', and on the other is's playful, yet somewhat melancholy. The four songs are wonderful, however, and it'll leave you wanting for more. If you're just about to experience Kozi's solo music, this should be your first sample. You'll love it.
