DIXANADUMoi dix MoisIt's no dix infernal
After beyond the gate, I felt a bit put out... I really wasn't feeling the vibe, but DIXANADU certainly did hold my interest. Seth's voice hasn't grown on me as I'd hoped, for the style, but it still lends a beautiful tone to songs like Angelica and Lilac of Damnation. Those two were my favourite songs on the album. Overall it was a good effort, but I think the glory days of MdM, have long passed.

Singles 2 [w/ 2 DVD, Limited Edition]Janne Da ArcSINGLES 2
This album sums up the past 2/3 years of Janne Da Arc and the limited edition is full of extras. The first DVD has all the PVs to the singles, with some extra ones (where the members all swap roles). The second DVD has some footage from their 2006 tour, a really old video too, and behind the scenes footage from 2004~2006. A worthy buy for any Janne Da Arc fan or anyone interested in hearing and seeing what they've been up to over the past 2 years.

Utakata [Regular Edition]Kagrra,Good... but not the best
This is Kagrra's latest single, "Utakata". After Chikai no Tsuki I was quite excited that another single was coming out and I was only slightly disappointed. The single is very good, but I feel that it could have been better. All three songs go well together, but I definitely prefer their earlier material

Dokeshi no BukyokuLAREINEExcellent
This single is brilliant! (sadly as I write this review Lareine have already disbanded, but) The talent of all the members come together to create a more dark, fantastical sound for Lareine. This single comes with a DVD with the PV for the song and two tracks. The second track isn't as dark, but is still dramatic. An amazing single.

Cinderella Fantasy [w/ DVD, Limited Release]LAREINEExcellent
Out of the three singles released consecutively, this one is certainly the most bouncy and fun. Unlike "Doukeshi..." 's dark, organ filled atmosphere, "Cinderella..." shows the talent of all the members, in their ability to create a beautiful Cinderella story. The second track on the single is quite broody and darker than "Cinderella...", but together they make a brilliant single which I never want to let go of.

CLIMAXLa'MuleLa'Mule's CLIMAX
This album combines the years of amazing talent that La'Mule have always had and shows it off in a brilliant mix of songs. One of my favourite songs from the album most definitely is "Sweet Enemy". A brilliant album.

Jujika no Ketsumatsu - Dai 2 no Higeki
Madeth gray'llJujika no Ketsumatsu - Dai 2 no HigekiMadeth gray'llMadeth gray'll, Matina, MarvellousI can't fault Madeth gray'll. They were one of my favourite bands on the Matina label and continue to be so to this day. Juujika no Ketsumatsu ~Dai ni no Higeki~ was the second maxi single by Madeth and all three songs on it are brilliant. "Kyoushikyoku" shows the band's more vicious side, "Hakuchuumu no Sangeki" is also dark and atmospheric, but "missantroop" shows their more uplifting and unique side. Brilliant!!

Taiyo wo Okuru Hi Limited EditionDSun burying ^-^
I really liked this single, after D's brilliant album "The name of the ROSE". Taiyou wo Okuru Hi combines all the band members' strengths, with the addition of Tsunehito, who has slightly scary eyes, but really can play bass!! The Special edition's DVD comes only with the PV of the song (no extras here,) but I like the video and I think it was definitely worth the money I forked out for it.

GLITTERKayabeautiful, dark, glittery
This album is really beautiful, Kaya's genesis from his later projects Schwarz Stein and Another Cell. His solo work is really unique (combining more dancey songs like "Walkure" and more slow ballady songs like "Silvery Dark")and shows real developments from the previous bands he's been in. The mixes of "Masquerade" and "Kaleidoscope" are nice, though I prefer single version of "Kaleidoscope." An excellent solo album. ^-^xx
