Redemption [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]GacktRedemption Review
Gackt + Final Fantasy = ...an okay-ish song. Combine Black Stone and Noesis and throw in a bit of Engrish and you get this song. However, thats not to say it's bad; I quite enjoy this song and I think it fits Dirge of Cerberus well. The videos contained on the DVD are also rather impressive and show off the costumes used in-game well. For the die-hard Gackt fan only.

Dirge of Cerberus -Final Fantasy VII- Original Soundtrack [Limited Edition]Game MusicDirge of Cerberus OST Review
A good release for the new Final Fantasy VII-related game; Dirge of Cerberus. Unfortunately, you can tell these tracks weren't composed by Nobou Uematsu and for me, the OST sags in the middle with quite generic music. That said, there are some killer songs on here that must be heard; "A Proposal", "Ninja Girl of Wutai" and "Mysterious Girl" to name but three. Of course, "Longing" and "Redemption" by Gackt are also fantastic songs, naturally. Buy this if you are a fan of the game; if not, I'd pass this up.

HOMEAngela AkiHome Review
A non-Final Fantasy related release from Angela Aki serves as to only get people such as myself excited for Final Fantasy XII. Angela Aki has an incredibly clear and strong voice which suits her style of piano playing perfectly; she can hold notes pitch perfect for quite a long time. The song itself is quite good, though I prefer "Kiseki" and "Will You Dance?", the other two songs on the single release.

Kokoro no Senshi [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Angela AkiKokoro no Senshi Review
Another great release from Angela Aki. The song itself moves along quite swiftly into the powerful chorus and remains just as dramatic all the way through. The DVD that came with it was also good, with a nice and simple video describing the song.

Kiss Me Good-Bye [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Angela AkiKiss Me Good-bye Review
An absolutely amazing song and very worthy of being a Final Fantasy image song. Both Japanese and English versions of the song (which are included with this single) are well sung and well written. Also, the English version does not suffer from bad translation as some other RPG-related songs have done in the past. This single is highly recommended - a must for any game music fan!

Makai Senki Disgaea Makai e no Shotaijo [Limited Release]AnimationMakai Senki Disgaea Review
A nicely created 'Prelude' DVD in preparation for the new anime series of 'Makai Senki Disgaea e no Shotaijo". The anime contained within (about 3 minutes in total) is fluidly drawn and animated, in one case, hundreds of individually drawn characters appear on screen at once which is pretty impressive. Special note goes to the extras that come with this DVD which include Prinny stickers and a set of 10 postcards. A great buy for a fan of the game and it's related titles (Phantom Brave, Makai Kingdom etc).

Symphonic Poem "Hope" (Final Fantasy XII Main Theme) [CD+DVD]Taro HakaseSymphonic Poem "Hope" Review
The title of Symphonic Poem is rather accurate for this single as each of the tracks lead on from the one before. The title track (Track 3 and the reprise in Track 5); "Hope" sets the scene of Final Fantasy XII and fits the setting of the game well. All in all, a good buy for all those interested in Final Fantasy or game music in general.
