Nobody Knows - "xxxHOLiC" Special Edition [Limited Release]Shikao SugaNOBODY KNOWS til they hear it
The lastest single from the amazing artist, Suga Shikao, is definitely one not to miss. With this version you'll get a lovely art work by CLAMP. But which ever version of the single you buy, you'll be treated to nice, mellow tracks one after another. The first track, NOBODY KNOWS, from beginning to end, the beat, guitar, and vocals are sensual. It's up-beat, yet R&B-cool.Suga keeps you into the song with the raising rhythm pace of his singing. And the chorus' lyrics are what will easily be memorable and addicting. It's sure to be the most entertaining track of the three. Second track, 1/3000 Piece, is a nice summer day song. With it's lyrics, and soothing bouncy sound, it will have the listener feeling jolly. All the instruments used in this song, really give it it's tone. A great song to follow the up-beat track which comes before. And finally the last track, KONBINI(I'm pretty sure it's the equivalent to 'convenience store' in English). A very simple song, simple melody, flowing together with calming vocals. It's simply just a relaxing song, and very easy to listen to. It may take awhile to get used to due to it being a very slow song, but in the long run it's very comforting.

Drink It DownL'Arc-en-CielDefinitely not a let down
Another great single from L'Arc~en~Ciel. "DRINK IT DOWN" is a rockin' track, with the beauty that shines in the sound. The music from drummer yukihiro, is very impressive. With such and eerie elegance, it enchants the listeners. hyde's vocals rock along the song well, and the chorus just bursts out divinely. I find the song very magnificent, rocking smoothness, jam, and elegance at the same time. Now the usual P'UNK b-side, "Dune 2008", shocked me. I became blown away by how one of their very early songs was remade. L'Arc~en~Ciel sure did an incredible job with the remake. The guitar is addictive, and does a wonderful job at altering the sound of the original song and yet staying true to the originals rhythm. tetsu does great with his punk vocals. The arrangement is just purely awesome. It's another great P'UNK~EN~CIEL song. Great single once again, be sure to pick it up!

Siren [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]Ruby GloomSiren is the single to check out!
A wonderful single from Ruby Gloom, or as we know the person behind the character, Nana Kitade. "siren" is a funky, punk rock song, that's definitely going to have you dancing. The song is so well put together, I feel it can be considered Kitade's best work to date. It's really good, and sure does not dissapoint. The b-side "My treasure", is cutesy poppy song. It's very mellow and soft. It's not as great as "siren", but with it's slow lovely pace, it's not a bad change from the rocky first track. The DVD is pretty short. The PV is a video consisting of clips from the Ruby Gloom animation with "siren" playing in the background, then an interview with Nana herself(though she introduces herself as "Ruby"). The interview is not too long, but enjoyable, hearing Nana talk as Ruby is kinda awkward and scripted sounded, but it is still nice to see Nana talk about the show and song. It's also nice to see her talk about certain things, and really shows her creativity. Even so, this single is really good. Though it only has two songs and instrumentals, the songs are that good and worth checking out the single. Kitade's talent really shines with this single, and is one of her best works.

My Heart Draws A DreamL'Arc-en-CielA dream soo lovely~
Yet another amazing new single from L'Arc~en~Ciel. "MY HEART DRAW A DREAM" is one single you'll enjoy over and over, or regret not having. Track 1, "MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM", is such a beautiful song. The lyrics, music, vocals, everything is soo relaxing and dear. Immediately you'll be comfortable with this song, and dazed. The music is so dreamy it's visual, and the way the lyrics are being song goes along soo wonderfully. This song almost feel as if it's been in L'Arc's discography along, it's that impressive. Following it, "Feeling Fine 2007". An easy favourite in the P'UNK list. TETSU P'UNK pulls off the P'UNK voice for such a happy loving song, and the arrangement by YUKI P'UNK is done so fittingly, the outcome was beyond anticipation, utterly amazing. Guaranteed to be loved. Being such an amazing single. Great lyrics, music, and awesome new P'UNK song, it's one to be sure to have. With lovely cover art too.

Antoinette BlueNana KitadeDon't be too blue
Nana Kitade's first single since her 2nd album, is not her best to date. "Antoinette Blue", being Ms.Kitade's first ballad, she does a good job singing in a sorrowful voice, giving off the theme quite well. It's lovely to hear, while still having a jammy beat. The song which I was abit disappointed in, is "Wish in the blood". With a title like this, I anticipated a dark theme and sound, though this song is didn't pull if off for me. The best part is the chorus, which has the rhythm that would suit the title, but other then that it's plain. Not a terrible song, yet nothing special. The third track, "kamisama hitotsu dake", seems as it would be as slow song, though the beginning seems punk, as you continue to hear the song, you get treated to lovely softly sung lyrics, while hearing rocking and powerful music behind the chorus. I really enjoyed how Kitade sung to this song, very different yet new. Though not one of Kitade's best singles, the 1st and 3rd track are something to look forward too.

Sakihokoru Hana no Yo ni / Kabuki BOIZ [w/ DVD, Limited Edition / A Type]MiyaviWonderful visual single
MYV's newest single is positively amazing! The first track, "Sakihokoru hana no youni" is soo jammy and beautiful, KAVKI BOIZ are so amazing. The PV is delightful aswell. The mixture is nothing but unique and entertaining. The second track, "KAVKI BOIZ/Danshi" is a wonderful danceable song. The genre mixed flows together so well, keeping it fresh and original. Third track "Ashita, tenki ni na-re-solo JAM session-" is a miyavi fans will recognize and get comfortable with fast. The the bits spoken by TYKO, and the lyrics sung in a new pace, it's hard not to love it. The new added lyrics and English words are nicely put in the song and flow really nicely. This is a wonderful song re-done wonderfully. This single shows miyavi's growth as in artist, vocals, in general, making it the single to have. If this is miyav's new style called "NEO VISUALIZM", I can't wait what more he has to give.

7 Samurai Sessions -We're Kavki Boiz- [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]MiyaviAmazing SESSIONS
I was excited to see older miyavi songs were to be redone with KAVKI BOIZ, and I'm happy to say it does not disappoint! It such a new feel for the songs in this mini-album they almost feel new. The starts with one of his latest songs from his last album, "Selfish Love -Aishitekure, Aishitekara-". Sounding similar to the original, the added bass makes it sound raw. The rock feel of the other tracks are bit toned down, making the feel more acoustic and new. Such as "ROCK'N'ROLL IS NOT DEAD", which makes me laugh at certain lyrics that are played with by the turntable. The style works really well with the tone of "ame ni utaeba~pichipichi chapuchapu ranran blues~", and the tap gives off the soft sounds of rain drops, emphasizes rain in the song theme. Simply lovely. In this album, the style and mixture sure does make miyavi's voice pop out even more. He's vocals are greater and have a more powerful feel with the growth being apparent. The album is utterly beautiful and pleasant to the ears. Hearing these songs re-done n miyavi's new style is a real treat. Be sure to check it out along with the DVD,which is wonderful seeing the process. Be sure to pick it up!

Sakihokoru Hana no Yoni / Kabuki BOIZ [Regular Edition]MiyaviMYV and KAVKI BOIZ are a great mix!
The latest single from the very talented artist miyavi, is one you must be sure not to miss. With a whole new fresh style it's far from disappointing. I find the KAVKI BOIZ very cool and original. The combination of miyavi's vocals and guitar, with KAVKI BOIZ's MC, beatboxing, tap, is very unique! It's flows together soo well, and the beat is soo jammy. Both "Sakihokoru Hana no Youni-Neo Visualizm-" and "Kabuki Danshi" are soo amazingly new, yet miyavi still keeps it miyavi. He pulls off this new style very well. What can't he do? The third track of this single type(regular),"Mamagoto(ex.Syoukyo to Sakujyo)-solo Jam Session ver-", is lovely. Abit slow, yet soothing, and the instruments are wonderful played in a mellow rhythm as miyavi sings. No electrics here, making it acoustic. Adding to the beautiful feel this song gives off. All-in-all a wonderful single. Great to add to a collection. I'm anticipating what miyavi has in store next, his releases are far from disappointing.

Seventh HeavenL'Arc-en-CielBack with new jams
L'Arc~en~Ciel is back with the new single "SEVENTH HEAVEN". The anticipated single comes with four tracks. Starting with the jammy futuristic self-titled song "SEVENTH HEAVEN". Very upbeat, it's definitely going to have you dancing. With the feel of a bit of old L'Arc, "SEVENTH HEAVEN" is very easy to adapt to. Though the only thing it's missing is guitarist ken's solo. The vocals of hyde are outstanding! Hitting high notes, English sounds great, along with ken's English background singing. L'Arc~en~Ciel also throws their alter egos back in the game with the P'UNK~EN~CIEL version of their popular song, "HONEY", in "HONEY 2007". This song really does sound punk! The song is pretty slow, and seems a bit boring, but once it's gets to the chorus, it'll get you bouncing along. It's a whole new way to sing "HONEY", and is very unique. I always enjoy P'UNK songs for it's fun to hear song you love sung by someone other then hyde, in this case tetsu. Though I think "HONEY 2007" is lacking a bit, it's still a great song that is easy to fall in love with. All-in-all the single is good. Jammy songs, wonderful vocals, great playing of the guitar, bass, and drums. Check it out if you can!
