Beam Of LightONE OK ROCKDefinitely Not Disappointed
Track List: 1. Hitsuzen Maker 2. Melody Line no Shibouritsu 3. 100%(hundred percent) 4. Abduction-Interlude 5. Sansan Dama 6. Koubou 7. Crazy Botch 8. Yap - I've been into ONE OK ROCK for almost two months, and I have not been disappointed with their music. For Christmas, one of my friends bought me this cd and I nearly hyperventilated; this is a great cd from OOR. Although the cd is very short at only 8 songs, one of which being an interlude (okay, sorry, only 7 now), it is well worth listening through one, two...maybe ten times. All of the songs are adrenaline pumping and soon you'll be singing along with them. Taka's vocals are irresistable and compliment the music very well. I personally recommend track 3 - 100%(hundred percent) - as my favorite track. The plus side is that all vocals and lyrics are in English. Though Taka has a tendency to put extra syllables into his words, his pronunciation is very good. I wouldn't expect anything more amazing from this band! A priceless work to add to your collection, whether you're a ONE OK ROCK fan or not!

color [Limited Edition]NEWSA Little Different But Still Fun!
This is definitely NEWS's experimental album. There were definitely a lot of different melodies and moods created by the music. It takes time to get used to a few of the songs, especially being accustomed to their older music, but if you're looking for a fun album, this is it! Recommended songs are weeeek, SUMMER TIME, SNOW EXPRESS, ordinary (the chorus is AMAZING!), Minna ga Iru Sekai wo Hitotsu ni Ai wo Motto Give&Take Shimashou (longest song title ever, but it is a very fun and upbeat song; Massu's solo), Smile Maker, and Happy Birthday. I recommend this if you're a fan of NEWS, for sure. If you're not but like a variety of music, then this is for you, too. If you're more into the super-happy music that NEWS usually sings, I recommend pacific for you instead. Overall, a great album and the songs are fun. It received only four stars because I expected songs more like their old work, but I suppose it's a sign their music is maturing along with them. If you're a NEWS fan and you don't have this already in your collection, I suggest getting it now!

Otakara Photo & Episode NEWS Kiseki -2005-2008- (Title subject to change)NEWSSpectacularly NewS
All of the pictures in the book are good quality, and there's plenty of them~ This book documents their history, so a lot of it is unreadable for those that cannot read Japanese, but it's still perfect for a NewS fan's collection. Also includes member profiles and individual pictures.

Heart StationHikaru UtadaHikki's Most Amazing Album Yet!
I totally love this album to death! Sure, the shipping was waaay slow to wait for this album, it was worth the wait! All of the songs are equally enjoyable and each individual in their own way. I love all of the tracks the same, but my favorites are "Fight the Blues," "HEART STATION," and "Prisoner of Love." This has to be Hikki's best album to date; I see no flaws in this album. The most unique track has to be "TEIKU 5" because of the abrupt ending, but the message it sends out is very beautiful yet melancholic. If you are a long-time fan of Hikki, or you're looking for a good listen, please give this a try! You will not be disappointed!

GUILTY [Jacket B]Ayumi HamasakiGUILTY takes on a rock edge
I love the more rock side to this album. The lyrics are wonderful, and the songs are all great. I don't think I could say that I hate any of the songs on this album; it's that great. My favorite songs on the album are: * Marionette - It has that eerie feel to it, but the lyrics definitely say something. * (don't) Leave Me Alone - The lyrics are really powerful, and the beats throughout the song make you want to dance. * untitled ~for her~ - Ayu wrote this song for her deceased friend, and it is a very sad song. Everytime I listen to it, it makes me cry. * Together When... - It's almost as if it's a message to someone she had loved, even though it was too late. Overall, this is a fantastic album, and I was really impressed with it!

Winter Ballades [Regular Edition]Nami TamakiThe Softer Side of Nami
This is definitely not Nami's usual style, although I am pretty content with the outcome of this single. Promise is a cute, relaxing song, and the PV definitely suits the song. It's Christmas Time is done well for Nami writing it herself, but I think we could have done without the blurbs of English she decided to throw into the song. And winter fall was a good L'arc~En~Ciel cover, but was rather slow. Overall, the single flowed very well from song to song, and it's very relaxing to listen to. It's not her usual style, so I gave it a four. A nice addition to any collection for those fans of Nami.

Heart Station / Stay GoldHikaru UtadaHEART STATION / Stay Gold
I have to say, I was quite impressed with HEART STATION/Stay Gold. HEART STATION is more upbeat than Stay Gold, but retains its unique Hikki sounds, and is rather fun to sing along to. Stay Gold is another great A-side, and is very relaxing. Both songs are very powerful in the message they are conveying, and it is a must-have for any fan of Hikki!

glitter / fated [Jacket B]Ayumi HamasakiA fun summer song
I was impressed with this single from Ayu, but I wouldn't say that I was totally blown away by it. The songs are definitely summer-y (it /was/ released during summer after all), and they are fun to listen to, but I really expected more from it. If you like Ayu's summer-y songs, this is for you!

talkin' 2 myself [Jacket B]Ayumi HamasakiAyu has a new rock-edge style!
I was blown away when I listened to Ayu's new single. The rock feel to the song makes it more fun to listen and sing to. It is definitely a great single to add to any collection.

Boku wa Kuma [Regular Edition]Hikaru UtadaThe cutest children's song ever!
I have to give this a 5. There's no way I could give such an adorable song anything lower. Once I listened to it a couple times when I first got it, it never left my head. It is so catchy and very cute. It is not much for a single, but well-worth the quality!

snowy loveMiyu Nagasesnowy love is a must have for ZONE fans
Miyu Nagase still has the same beautiful voice that she graced ZONE with. snowy love is a very pretty song, very upbeat, and will get stuck in your head. The B-side is alright, but the A-side makes the single so much better. If you're a fan of ZONE, this is a must have :)

Brightdown [Regular Edition]Nami TamakiNami mixes pop and rock
Nami's new single is a lot more rock than most of her songs are, but I was very impressed with the new single. "Brightdown" is a really good song, especially with the guitars and her vocals go well with it. The second track (sorry, title is in Japanese and it won't let me type it!) is a nice B-side ballad, but I wouldn't say it went well on this single, mainly because the other two tracks are rock. And lastly, "Endless dream" was also a good B-side track. Not too much rock, but also not too much pop. A nice mix of both and you can dance to it! Overall, I would recommend this single to anyone who is a big Nami Tamaki fan, or anyone who's looking for a nice rock song or two!
