Himawari -Growing Sunflower- [CD+DVD / Jacket A]SPEEDSPEED needs you!
If you only have 30 seconds reading this, then you should just buy this single straight away. 'Himawari -Growing Sunflower-' is the third single released by SPEED since their permanent reform in late 2008. Although it only first charted at No.6 on the Oricon daily single chart. 'Himawari -Growing Sunflower-' is truly the song of SPEED: with a catchy melody and beautifully written lyrics by long time producer Hiromasa Ijichi. This song is slowly making a hit in Japan and guaranteed a thumbs up from you! Track no.2 is Moonlight Honey, an upbeat synth-pop number. It certainly reminds fans of SPEED the type of music they used to listen to before the breakup prior 2000. A very nice attempt after the previous single 'S.P.D' 'My Street Life' is the bonus track, a remake of the song 'Street Life' found on the 'Rise' album released back in 1998. A rather surprise release with a slow ballad type of melody. A nostaglic number! The DVD has some bonus features along with the music video of 'Himawari -Growing Sunflower-'. An excellent buy for 1800 yen!
