Not sure about the source they used for this SACD mastering, maybe early 3M PCM recorder and Analog Tape, but it's a very good remaster from Bob Ludwig of one of the wierdest YMO album, it's almost as good as my original LP

This album is a milestone in music history, it was one of the first to use a prototype sampler from Toshiba, like BGM it was also one of the most experimental album, very strange and creative for the time it was release, again the remastering in SACD is full and sound amazing.

I think this one was realy popular in Japan because of the first single track, "Kimi ni mune kyun" it was a huge sucess in the 80's in Japan, probably the most popular album from the band, but overseas we know more "Solid State Survivor" and the first one. the remastering was realy great.

I discover this one with a second hand LP, and it was one of my favorite from the band, like "Multiple Infinite" it use a mix with a comedy show, between the song, the song "Perpective" was just amazing, again the remastering from Bob Ludwig was perfect.

it's a nice live album, the last from the 80's decade after there split, like the other SACD version reissue, it's sound amazing !!!

I rememeber discover this band on a second hand old LP in 2004, this remastering was just amazing, it's warm and feel like the original tape, good job !!!

Probably the best album of the band, like the first one, the remaster was just, as close as you get to the original tape, no compromise, it's a must have !!!

it's a realy good introduction album from the composer of Merry Xmas Mr Lawrence theme, in the spirit of what he do with YMO band; but more subtle than it could appear on the first listening, a must have for the fan of the composer. now i hope having more reissue of his solo work, and also YMO in SACD...

By itself and as long as i now, every Dire Strait Album are pure audiophile recording masterpiece, but this one like " Love Over Gold " are one of my favorite albums of the band, so yeah it's sound amazing as good as the tape probably was, the song are already classic rock tune, so get yourself a favor and listen to those edition, much better than the european re relased on CD.

This album is a gem by itself, every people who love the song " Video Kill The Radio Stars" shoud get this SACD edition, the sound literaly breathing it's exactly like listening the 1/4 Inch Analog master tape at the Studio, but I recommend you to listening that on top grade Hifi system or with a good preamp like the Rotel i used on a pair of Focal monitoring speaker of course a good SACD player is recommended too, it's also wonderfull on closeback headphone.

Underated In Fact, the problem with this album censored in many country's, when it was released in the first time in the 70's, because of a misunderstood of the intent from the mass media and also because of the infamous screaming, orgasm, performance of Irene Papas, the record was killed for Satanic content, but it was not the case, it's more a concept album hippie jokes, VANGELIS famous for there progressive synth album like "albedo 0.39" "John and Vangelis" and soundtrack like " Blade Runner " or " Chariot of Fire " and the lead singer DEMIS ROUSSOS mostly know for his pop song, made simply the most CRAZY and awesome progressive and psychedelic from those period, this album was manly based on " The Appocalypse of John ". it was recorded in Paris at the time at studio Davoust and also in other place, with a chaotic creative brainstorming, making the end of Aphrodite's Child. the SACD transfert is just flat and straight maybe a lack of bass compared to the vinyl but it's realy the quality of the master tape.

Seriously this album kick ass, this one is like listening the original 1/4 inch tape, it can surprised but the transfer to DSD is realy straight and raw ^^ due to it's age you can listen a lot of background noise (especialy on Planet Caravan ...), but the dynamic of the drum and the sound of the bass is just awesome and lively. a must have for all the Black Sabbath fan.

I had buy this SACD when it released in europe, it's sound very analog but im little bit disapointed with the original Quadrophonic mix they put on it, but the stereo is as fine as the original LP, i hope they released the " BURN" album and the others live they do in SACD.

i discover this band very recently i was surprised how good it sound on some bad youtube upload, so i decide to buy and add this to my SACD collection, the 5.1 Mix is awesome, and the Stereo too, the guitar recording is so real that you can feel beside you, i was impressed by the song "the chain" and "Second hand" are like realy made for SACD it's breathing.

it's seems that Warner Music cherish the sound on any SACD they released, after the knocking shock i had with Fleetwood Mac Rumours, as a true fan of the Doors this one is a realy must have, especialy in Stereo, the 5.1 mix is good but i think not very spectacular due to the lack of track recorded on the original master tape, i hope they released the others album in this format, by the way, the music is realy lively on this SACD.

It's a true masterpiece one of the best work of Steevie Wonder, the sonic quality is just awesome, i already have it on LP, and now on SHM-SACD, in term of dynamic range it's realy close to the original analog but without the crackles, now i need to know if another classic album like Supertramp Crime of the century, or Breakfast in America is planned on this format ^^
