the Fourth Avenue CafeL'Arc-en-CielLove DARUKU!
I love both these songs... I'd only heard poor quality versions of the DARK song before, I love hearing it in all its stereo glory. Good buy for newer fans, older fans will be disappointed about the title track as it's the same exact version on "True." Still good, though.

Nagasaki BluesFANTASY'S COREGreat band!
I saw these guys on stage in 2005, they were AMAZING. I bought this cd at their concert and I adore it. I also have their PotenHits cd, which is their first album and love that too. Buy this if you like fun, catchy, hooky, real rock music!

AWAKEL'Arc-en-CielTake away their existence...
It's not my favorite L'Arc album, but it has many strong songs and is probably their most "polished" album to date. The band is definitely older & their sound is changing along with it. Pretty much the only things I don't like about AWAKE are: 1) Too many synthesizers 2) For once, it was Hyde (and not Ken) who wrote the majority of the songs & in that sense it almost felt like a Hyde-solo-in-progress. "Trust" by Tetsu and "Jyojyoushi" by Ken are phenomenal songs, I sort of felt like "My Dear" was a tad superficial/filler but "Hoshizora" is Hyde's masterpiece. Amazing album, as are all of L'Arc's albums. Give it a try!

LOOPFAIRY FOREPut it on repeat, sit back and relax...
This album got me into the band, I first heard it in the summer of 2002. All the songs are great, my favorites being "child of wizard" and "Ring." Their style is hard-yet-upbeat rock and some pop thrown in for some variation. Their guitarist Akihide (also singer/guitarist/leader of NEVER LAND) is a personal hero of mine, but I think their drummer Yoko is amazing and draws my attention to him and his skills quite often--they all seem to just be young men really enjoying themselves. Buy this! <3

Cry-Max Pleasure -Super Loud,Trance and Violence for ExtacyV.A.(FANATIC CRISIS, LA'CRYMA CHRISTI, Other)Max pleasure indeed...
I was lucky enough to buy this before it went out of print. A great buy! Many good songs, including exclusive tracks "See Saw" by CASCADE, "AFTER IMAGE" by AFTER IMAGE, "Mobius" by FANATIC CRISIS, and a super rare track by La'cryma Christi. "U.K.JUNK STYLE" by LIPSTICK GUYS isn't really that great in my opinion, otherwise this album would get 5 stars! This cd is definitely a must have for fans of these artists!

RE-SETTAKUICatchy!
RE-SET is so wonderfully hooking. It's not TAKUI's most poignant song, but it's fun and extremely listenable on repeat, especially on long drives ;) The b-side is good too, just...strange.

LIVE IN USA - at 1st Mariner Arena July 31, 2004L'Arc-en-CielI am dolphin!
I was at this concert and it was absolutely amazing in every way. Fanboys were bowing to them, I think L'Arc deservedly won many many fans that day and even heightened the respect their older fans already held for them. Wonderful DVD, but it does not include Ken's adorable dolphin sequence :( Hyde's singing is spot-on, and I definitley can't say that about all their other concert DVDs! Buy this, it's so fun!

JojoshiL'Arc-en-CielWow
Jojoshi is one of my favorite L'Arc songs. Beautiful, subtle, and unlike any other song they've done before. The second I heard it I was hooked big time, and later I saw the PV and it only added to the huge impression this song leaves on you. It is definitely a good reason to buy "AWAKE" as well :)

THE MIDDLE WAYBRAHMANa white deep (good) album
This is a wonderful album, some of my favorite BRAHMAN songs are on it. "a white deep morning" is one of my all-time favorite songs. Quite a feat for a non-mainstream Japanese band few Americans have ever heard of ;)

Royal JellyJELLYGo Zeri!
This is Jelly's "best of" album. It's a must have for anyone starting out with the band and a welcomed addition to an old fan's collection. It was my first CD of theirs I ever got and I foamed at the mouth for more. Now I have all their albums & Jelly is one of those bands where you scratch your head and say "Why don't all people everywhere listen to them?" --yes, they're *THAT* good.

ORANGE / RAINBOW BIRDJELLY!!!!
Words can't appropriately describe this double single. Powerful, hypnotic, extra-special delicious...take your pick. I was blown away by the first note of RAINBOW BIRD and I must have all of Jelly's singles, though the older ones are so hard to find :(

Hoshizora no shita de / "Pobby to Dingan"SHAKALABBITSLove the Labbits
This single got me into SHAKKALABBITS, I pretty much bought it because it was half off. That was over a year ago and now, all albums and singles later, I know for sure this band is one of the best out there. That's saying a lot since I usually don't like female singers, especially singing pop music. Awesome catchy stuff <3

between YOU and ME [Regular Edition]SHAKALABBITSbetween YOU and ME... this rocks
This is probably my favorite out of all the Labbits' singles. Catchy right from the get-go. A great reason to buy Crimson Square if you ask me ;) These boys (and girl) can do no wrong. Buy all their stuff this instant!
