Hayashibara, a singer always on the rise
Let me start by saying that the overall of the songs performed by Megumi Hayashibara are stellar. Needless to say that all of her songs included in the album are fascinating. The limited first press comes with a booklet that is a marvel to behold. Besides, the three CDs included offers the chance to listen the outstanding songs that Hayashibara composed in her long-span music career of thirty years; songs such as “Give a reason” that appears in the first CD (a magnificent song to boot), or “Sneaker” at the second CD that is very touching and deserves a place of honour in japanese Kpop music. The stunning voice of Hayashibara found her way to Evangelion, doubling the voice of Rei Ayanami, making her more human and deep. There is for the fans of Evangelion series one track at the third CD that deserves to be listened. In addition, the tantalizing voice of Hayashibara touches something in the psyche, that make all her songs unique and genuine, prevailing always in your mind without fall into oblivion.
