Believe / Kumori Nochi, Kaisei [w/ DVD, Limited Edition (1)]Arashi / Kenta Yano starring Satoshi OhnoBelieve/Kumori Nochi, Kaisei LE1
The song 'Believe' is a slightly different sound for Arashi, having a feeling more like the song 'Truth' than like Arashi's other music. Strangely, it pairs very well with the happy sounding 'Kumori Nochi, Kaisei' and together they are a great listening experience. This Limited Edition is packaged with the PV for 'Believe'. The video is very striking, mixing the band singing, powerful dance, and quickly cascading dramatic images.

Arashi 5 Dome Tour Photo Book - Arashi is Alive! [BOOK+CD]ArashiArashi is Alive
The photos in this book are beautiful, truly a work of art in some cases. The biggest problem is that--in some cases--the subject of the photo is caught in the binding. So, in some ways, the layout of photos could have been better for people who don't like to crack the spines of their books. Also included was a cd with the song 'ReMarkable' (a new song and--so far--only available with this book). It's a song in the same vein as COOL & SOUL and the lyrics are powerful and striking.

truth / Kaze no Muko e [Regular Edition]ArashiA great dual-a single
A pretty cd and case combined with three great songs. Both 'Smile' and 'Kaze no Mukou e' are upbeat and very fresh while 'Truth' is a high-tension, darker sound that sets your pulse racing. It's already number one single for the year on the Oricon charts after only a few weeks of availibility, too. If you have a choice of singles from Arashi's 2008 releases this should be the one.

Kiiroi Namida (English Subtitles) [Regular Edition]Japanese MovieKiiroi Namida (Eng Subs)
This is not a movie simply for Arashi fans--this is a movie for anybody who loves good movies and truly moving stories. These are not 'members of a boyband' acting in this movie, these are fantastic ACTORS making wonderful characters come to life. By mid-movie you forget 'Arashi' and become wrapped up in the lives of these five young men who are, along with their country, on the cusp of their future.

Time [Regular Edition]ArashiTime
Time is an absolutely fantastic cd. If you're new to Arashi--or to Jpop in general--the Time cd is a great place to start.

Dream"A"live [Regular Edition]ArashiDream "A" Live
An absolutely fantastic cd. It doesn't contain the solos, sadly, but every song on this disc is an honest pleasure. The liner notes fold out into a mini-poster, too. Any Arashi fan should own this cd and anybody looking to get into Arashi could certainly start here.

One Love [w/ DVD, Limited Edition]ArashiOne Love--Limited
If I'd known upon ordering that the dvd extra was just One Love's PV I'd have ordered the regular edition. That said--it's still an awesomely cute video and the song was worth the purchase price (and international shipping), too.

C x D x G no Arashi! Vol.1Variety (Arashi)A fun way to kill a few hours
It's mostly A-no-Arashi but, at the same time, the clips are so delightful that it's hard to feel put-out about not having full episodes. There are no English subtitles but the idea (and the humor of it all) comes across easily.

C x D x G no Arashi! Vol.2Variety (Arashi)Still a fun way to pass the time
Again, there is a lot of A-no-Arashi but--just like the previous disc--there is a lot of fun to be had in what's on it. Watching the interaction between the members of Arashi doesn't get old.
