BABYLON - since 2004BABYLONBABYLON ~since2004~
This DVD offers a lot of stuff, and for a really nice price. First there's the 4 PV's which is the main object of the release. PV's are for the songs: In a coop, Leopardess Marry, Celeb and Knot theory. Then there is a selection of 9 songs plus pre-live rehearsal/backstage from the oneman on 2004.12.12 (the last live of the guitarist Youki with the band), the song selection is a bit weak according to my tastes, but there's the song "Teddy" on it, which was almost never played live and they do not perform it live anymore nowdays. There's also extras: offshot of the members hanging around in the streets of tokyo and a 30 minute-long interview with Takuma, Misa and Haku. (which is very cool if you understand japanese), and lastly a little mini-interview with the DVD director. That's it, you get all that in this DVD. Very recommended for Babylon fans, but if you want a live DVD of them, I recommend getting the Gokurakuchou live DVD, the song selection is a lot better and longer.

neo classical IIKlein Kaiserbeautiful old melody... now, revives.
klein kaiser was the band Misa formed after Da'vid/shito:aL and before Aioria. not many people heard about them, but they're highly reccomendable. This maxi-single contains very memorable songs from them, especially "Kokoro no saihate"; a very deep and melanchilic ballad composed by Misa, and "Chimidoro no headdress", another Misa song contrasting wiht "Kokoro...", this one is speedy, violent and with a ultra catchy melody. 100% recommended for Misa fans

neo classical IIIKlein Kaiserbeautiful
This is my favorite Klein Kaiser release, I think. Starting with the instrumental intro "Hitominna egaku", a beautiful waltzy tune with the typical Misa harpsichord, then followed by "Bikasareta guuzou", my probably favorite Klein Kaiser song too (with very interesting dark and deep lyrics too). "z. n. b" is a very different song, featuring an arabian sound with sitars; and finally "Kaihou no shunkan", which is a song with a melancholic, romantic melody with an awesome instricate guitar solo. I never get tired of this CD.

Ms.crescent ValentineBabylonms. crescent valentine
This CD shows the brighter side of Babylon, not really the best they can do, but they're decent songs, very romantic too. there's also a instrumental rearranged version of their classic "Knot theory" which is very well done. 4/5 stars because even if the songs aren't really demostrative of Babylon's characteristic sound (Misa's songs, to be more specific), they're well done, and the instrumental of "Knot theory" is really awesome

CLAN GENEBabylonclan gene 2nd press
This is the 2nd press of CLAN GENE, the CD contains the same songs as the first press (17 songs selected from the 2004 CDs) and a DVD, which is different than the first press. This second press' DVD contains the oneman live from 2006.4.26 "Ao no butterfly", sadly most of the songs aren't complete, maybe about 7 out of the 24 songs on the DVD are complete... they include songs that weren't included in any other DVD before like "Vault" and "Gokurakuchou wa higashi ni shizumu", which is great to see those two performed live. If you don't have the first press of Clan Gene, this is a very good purchase; but otherwise I'd only recommend this to die-hard Babylon fans who need to own everything they release.

BABYLON 1BABYLONichiban
The very first release of a band that has continued making great music for more than 2 years and a half now. This first CD contains four solid songs, two of them composed by Misa, and the other two by Youki. The Misa songs have the same feeling his songs always have, "Tonight" being a more emotive and melancholic song, with still a hard rock feeling to it with loud guitars and and powerful chorus. "In a coop" is the catchy song of the CD, definitely a favorite. The Youki songs aren't as great in my opinion but still listeneable, "awake morning" is a very relaxing song, a good choice for closing the CD. The packaging is also very nice, digipak case and the disc itself it's shaped like a butterfly, which makes it very unique. Since the CD is limited to 3000 copies, I recommend Babylon fans to get it before it becomes a rare hard to find item. 4 points out of 5 because the Youki songs don't do it for me much, but still awesome for Misa's.
