Now Is The TimePerpetual EtudeA More Metal Seventh Star
I’m a big fan of Seventh Star, in large part due to lead singer Christian Fehr. Etude is basically a more metal 7S and it’s REALLY good. It’s extremely guitar heavy and the solos are great. Highly recommended!

Live at NSL (Nordic Sound Lab)Seventh CrystalFun Mini-Live Album
This is only seven songs long and a quick listen, but still fun none the less to hear these songs live and tweaked with little, different touches. I have no idea how much studio magic in post is on this album, but everyone sounds great and their musicianship shines through. Recommended for fans of the band!

Torn Arteries [Japan Bonus Track]CarcassA Return to Form
I know Surgical Steel predates Arteries, but to me THIS is their true return to form PRE-Heartwork (which is my best album). I say “return to form” in terms of their Grindhouse roots - their melodicism on Heartwork is something special. This album just flows nicely, and The Extra Japanese track is silly. Very much recommended!

Blaze Of Glory [Limited Low-priced Reissue]Jon Bon JoviExcellent CD
In my opinion, this is the best sound of all the releases so far. The level is high and the bass is more saturated. Thank you for this wonderful album on Japanese CD with excellent sound!!!

Destroyer 45th Anniversary Deluxe Edition [SHM-CD] [Limited Edition]KISSAn Essential Rock Album
This CD - Which needs no introduction - is great for folks like me who want the C SHM-CD remastering without spending big bucks on the huge box set. PLUS, you get Paul’s lead vocals on the much Faster God of Thunder and Rock n Roll demo, which is greatly prefer over the studio version. This is a must have for everyone unless you want the big box
-
Creatures Of The Night 40th Anniversary Deluxe Edition [SHM-CD] [Limited Edition]KISSAn Essential KISS album
Like the 2 disc SHM-CD Destroyer set, this set is perfect for those folks like me who want the remaster for the album proper and don’t need the huge box set. Everything here sounds crisp and LOUD, while the incision of the demos and live tracks are a nice touch. An essential addition to your collection

Frank Zappa is one of my favourite artists. Very good album and super sound. I recommend to others as well.

VictoryWHITE WIDDOWDecent Modern AOR, Not Their Best
While White Widdow is a great band, their most recent album is probably the least impressive. It’s not bad per se, but it’s simply not great; I can’t name one stand out track. Victory isn’t the album I go to when I need a WW fix, nor would I suggest it as a gateway record to someone who has never heard them before. I can only strongly suggest it to the diehards.

Sakura Saku Machi MonogatariIkimonogakariIkimonogakari,
Fantastic album from this band the vocals are unreal, with great melodies and harmonies. A perfect 1st album

The Wings Of WarOVERKILLSolid Modern Thrash
TWoW isn’t essential modern thrash, but it’s still extremely good considered Overkill has been doing this forever. Last Man and Bat are great tracks, but Garden State is very silly. Only a must for Overkill or old school thrash fans
-
White Devil ArmoryOver KillLegitimately Great Album
I don’t know how Overkill continued to put out great music, but they do. WDA is a great thrash album from 2014 that punches you right in the gut after the intro with Armorist (an earworm song). Smoke, Freedom and King are standout tracks. Must buy modern thrash.

Kids In A Ghost Town (Deluxe Edition) [SHM-CD]NESTORSolid Faux-80s But NOT Their Best
Nestor’s debut is a solid album full of expertly-crafted songs and musicianship. On The Run and 1989 are classics, however, many other songs are just filler. Still worth getting but their NEXT album is basically perfect. Get the SHM-CD for the extra tracks!

Mobile Suit Gundam Thunderbolt Ohtagaki Yasuo ARTWORKS: Thunderbolt Art WorksYasuo Ohtagaki, Hajime YatateA remarkable collection of art
There was a big poster in it, and when I thought it was crazy, there was another one at the end. I'm collecting posters, so I'm thankful for that. The art book is all in color, up to about 213 pages. Illustrations of Gaiden are also included. I don't use text or black and white to earn pages, so I think it's impressive enough. Recently, every art book has few pages but is expensive, and I'm satisfied with the content, but I don't know if it's worth the price, but I don't think there's any need to worry. For the first time in a long time, I came across an art book that was impressive and I was more than satisfied with the price.

Abiko Yoshikazu no Rekishi GahoYoshikazu YasuhikoMasterpiece
I was taken with them to buy it, and I am glad I bought it. I have a lot of sympathies with the artist way of drawing warm characters. If you look only at the eyes, there is an image that the characters are the same even if they are different, but it may be fair to say that they are unique characters and personalities. Gundam characters are somewhat unique, but maybe it is only with Mr. Yasuhiko pictures that they look like ideal images. Every picture is fascinating, and you'll want to keep looking at Yasuhiko Yoshikazu forever.

Kusamori Shuichi Animation ArtworksKusamori ShuichiGood book
Kusamori was responsible for landscape depictions in films such as GHOST IN THE SHELL 2: Innocence (created by Masamune Shirow, directed by Mamoru Oshii), Metropolis (created by Osamu Tezuka, written by Katsuhiro Otomo, directed by Rintaro), X (created by CLAMP, directed by Rintaro), which are said to be the pinnacle of Japanese animation art, along with the PSYCHO-PASS series. These works are not reproductions of real cityscapes or nature, but rather were painted as imaginary landscapes to show the world of science fiction and fantasy. But the book format is not one of my favorities. The book is quite small and some pages look like that had been cut incorrectly. Recommended if you are a great fan of this author.

Tamamori Junichiro's Space Battleship Yamato Mechanical Artworks: YAMATO MECHANICS 2001-2025Tama Mori Jun Ichiro / Iori No Hideaki / Voyager Horudeingusu KabushikigaishaPerfect Space Battleship Yamato Book
All illustrations that fans want to see have been recorded without omission, including illustrations published on the site that Mr. Tamamori used to run. The number of pages is necessary and sufficient, and it takes quite a bit of time to look at every corner. The excellence of Yamato's design was almost completed in the initial setting drawn by Kazutaka Miyatake, but in the second work, it became a simple line due to the habit of Mr. Tomonori Kogawa, and it changed to something like a childish toy. As a result, many fans have come to envision an ideal shape called “I'm Yamato,” which is different from the anime version. I've always thought, “I can draw Yamato in a cooler way than TV animators.” Highly recommended book!!
