Al my all-time favorite vocalist. I will truly miss this amazing artist. I have so many of his albums so many favorites. This particular album has one his best songs ever. This album is highly recommended.

I must admit that this is a well recorded live album. Sometimes the production is amazing. This is a must have in your collection.

Tonton Macoute is a British progressive rock band, founded in 1970 in the County of Berkshire. The saxophonist and vocalist Dave Knowles the bassist and guitarist Chris Gavin had already played in various bands in Berkshire County when they met the organist Paul French and the drummer Nigel Reveler, who had a similar career as musicians in the north of England. The debut album by Tonton Macoute came out in 1971; it remained the only original release of the band. The music of Tonton Macoute is strongly influenced by jazz, so the band could simply regarded as a progressive rock band as well as a jazz rock band. In the recent decade, Paul French has been to reform Tonton Macoute to produce more material. His thinking in producing a new depiction of this album was to im-agine how the band would have sounded in the modern age and with more time to perfect the original tracks. This stunningly powerful album represents a timeless Jazz-Rock masterpiece that sounds just as good today as it ever did.

Dynazty have with 'Game of Faces' another milestone of the Band history released. The album convinces with hard riffs, great guitar solos, atmospheric keyboard sound and crowned by Molino's brilliant voice.

While there are many, many amazing and beautiful gravure idols out there, there are two that always get my attention; Mai Nishida and Rui Kiriyama. The former’s output is sparse these days, but I am still very glad to see her still putting out videos (Rui, on the other hand is very prolific in her output. Thankfully.). Mai was actually the one that got my attention just a few years ago, and I think she is an absolutely beautiful young woman with an amazing figure to match. And if you are familiar with both Mai and Rui’s body type, you can see where my tastes tend to run. This latest DVD, however, was very lacking for me. First, it was filmed way too dark in several scenes. This is a contrasts to several other of her videos that are very bright and bring out a vibrancy in both the setting and its model. Second, there was one scene where Mai is disrobing in a small room and preparing for a shower. Ok, that was a neat build up. But then once the scene changed to the shower, the views were all above the shoulders and below the waist. Now, I’m aware that gravure is “clean”, if you will, but the implication that Mai was showering naked and all that could be shown was the aforementioned above/below angles just made the scene boring and not nearly that sexy. At least not to me. A bikini or similar while showering would have improved this scene as the focus could have been broader (I realize that this is like every other shower scene for all gravure models, but I think it would have worked better). There were a couple of other scenes that were not bad (and better lit), but overall this video was lacking for me. Considering the slow output of videos from this amazing model, I would be very happy to see an improvement in future output (assuming there will be more). The last video of Mai’s that I thought had several amazing scenes was the one from 2023. I hope that there is a return to that quality soon.

This album delivers. It is absolutely sublime. 18 songs that make us dream, so far from the noise and fury too often seen today. The period covered runs from 1977 to 1990. This wonderful album is an opportunity to discover or rediscover young singers whose records have become very difficult to find. This album is a magnificent compilation, a beautiful musical journey to a wonderful past. The studio recordings are superb. A must-have. A huge thank you to Sony Music Japan and CDJapan.
